When testing must be done in a closed area, activate the brakes and use blocks to prevent the machine from moving during the tests. Let only approved personnel on the machine. Keep other personnel off the machine and in view of the operator.
NOTE: All tests and adjustments must be made with the oil in the hydraulic control system at normal operating temperature. Be sure the linkage adjustments are correct before making any tests.

Do not operate the machine with the universal joint removed. The force of hydraulic pressure on the output shaft will cause the shaft to

3. Loosen the nut on spool (7). Make an adjustment to the length of spool (7) so that the end of the spool is even (flush) with face (A) of selector valve body (12). Tighten the nut on the spool. 4. Put detent (6) in the NEUTRAL groove of speed cam (9), as shown.

5. Loosen the nut on spool (11). Make an adjustment to the length of spool (11) so that the front face of the spool is even (flush) with face (B) of selector valve body (12). Tighten the nut on the spool.
