Irecommendusingasmallerflatbladejewellersscrewdrivertoremovethemtoavoiddamage. Oncetheseareout,therearethreePhilipsscrewsthatneedremovingfromtheselocations,and2 screwsalongthebottomofthedoorbin. GentlypullthedoorcardawayfromthedoorfromthebottomTherearefourplasticpoppersthat holditinplace,2downeachside.Theseshouldpopoutwithouttoomucheffort.Thedoorcard shouldnowbefreefromthedoor. Removethetriangularplastictrimfromthedoor,bygentlypullingitoutwards,thenslidingitout towardsthefrontofthecartoreleaseitfromitstwogroovesalongitsstraightedge.

Thetopofthedoorcardisheldinplacebyafittingthatattachesitselftothedoorshellbetweenthe windowalongthetopofthedoorarea.Toreleaseit,justknockthedoorcardupwardsanditwill releaseandliftawayfromthedoorlockbutton. Ifyouhavedoorcourtesylights,youwillneedtoremovethetwosmallblackPhillipsscrewsfrom behindthedoorcardholdingthetraybinin.Oncetheseareremoved,thewiringcanbe disconnectedfromthecourtesylightandthedoorcardcanthenbemovedoutoftheway. Youshouldnowhavesomethingresemblingthis:

Pleasenotethatthepictureaboveshowsthedoorhandleandspeakerremoved,andthemembrane liftedoutoftheway.Iforgottotakeapicbeforethisstage...sorry! Nowtheregulatorhasbeenremoved,youneedtoremovethewiringloominthedoor.Theloomis heldinplacebytwothreadedblocksalongthebottomofthedoor,andbyseveralplasticclipswhich locateintothebody.Undoallofthese,andpushthegrommetholdingthedoorcardelectricsback intothedoorandfeeditallthrough. Younowneedtoremovethecentrallockingmotorplug.

Thisisdoneeasiestbyremovingthethreetorxboltsholdingthedoorcatchmechanism,and removingtherearwindowrunnerboltinthebottomcornerofthedoor.Also,loosenbutdonot removethetopguidetorxbolt.Takenoteofthelayoutofthelayoutoftheclearplasticlocatingpin ontothedoorlockmodulebeforeyoumoveit. Feedtheunitdown,untiltheplugcanbeseen.Itsontopofthemodule,andhasapullawaytabon it.Toundo,putasmallerscrewdriverinbetweentheredtabandtheplug,andpullthetabout. Oncefullyopenitwillthenallowtheplugtoberemoved.BelowishowIdiditwithascrewdriver.

Youshouldnowhavetheentirewringloomunpluggedandunclippedinsidethedoor.Pushthe grommetthroughthefrontofthedoorandthenfeedallofthewiringout.

Nowfeedthenewwiringloombackin,makingsureyoufeeditinthecorrectplaces.Pushthe sealingbungbackinplaceinthefrontofthedoor,andmakesureitssealingflat.Thenfeedthe wiringforthedoorhandleelectricsoutoftheholeanddothesamewiththegrommettheretoo. Nowthehardtask:Youneedtofittheredtabbedplugbackonthedoormodule.Thiscanbereally fiddly,butessentiallyallyouneedtodoislocateit,thenclosethetabandthatwillloweritontothe connectorandmakethesealforyou. Liftthemodulebackup,andatthesametime,youneedtolocatetheclearconedbungontothe modulesleverasyouliftitup.YoullseewhatImeanwhenyoudoitfrominsidethedoor.Itriedto takeseveralpicsofit,butthelightingandblurrypicspreventedit. Refitthethreetorxboltsthatholdthemodulein,tightenthetoprunnertorxbolt,andalsorefitthe lowerrunnerbolt.Thenconnectalltheplasticclipsbackintoplaceinsidethedoor,andcheckthe loomisntsnaggedoratriskofgettingdamaged. Nowfeedintheelectricwindowregulator,andfittheslideontothebottomrunnerofthewindow. Connecttheplugfortheelectricwindowmotor,andthenquicklyfittheelectricwindowswitchfor thedoorandadjustitsotheholeslineup.Poprivettheregulatorinplace,andthentestits operationupanddownfullytomakesurenothingsticksandallisok. Onceeverythingworksfitthedoorhandlepullerandrefitthemembraneandtapeupanytearsto preventanymoisturegettingintothedoorcard.Thenrefitthedoorcardandwindowtrimpiecein thereverseofremoval,andfitthe25mmgrommetintotheholefromwherethewinderusedto comeoutofthedoor.
