July 2012, Volume IV, Issue III Dear Family and Friends, Greetings in the name of our Lord

Jesus Christ! We have just returned from an itinerant trip to California. We were able to visit multiple churches in our three-weekend trip, as well as attend the Advance Training Institute Conference and do a bit of primitive camping.
Bodh muinn agat as an Tiarna, agus n bodh iontaoibh agat as do thuiscint fin. Seanfhocal 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Prov. 3:5

Church Visitation
We had an encouraging time visiting Faith Bible Church of Sacramento where my (Kevins) family has been longtime friends of the founding members. We also had a special treat visiting Steve Wong and his lovely family; Steve is one of Biblical Minstries Worldwides board of directors. On our final Sunday up in northern California, we were blessed by both Pastor John Winkelman and Pastor Clint Jeffcott of Grace Church of Lockford and Wilton Bible Church respectively. We can not thank each body of believers enough for opening up their hearts to us and allowing us to share our passion for Ireland. Not only did they share their hearts, but their food and their homes. Big Valley Bible Church of Lodi was also a tremendous blessing. They hosted us in their missionary housing for a few days. What a tremendous blessing to be able to sleep in a comfortable bed and cook in a real kitchen instead of eating out of an ice chest. How often we take these things for granted!

Support Building
During our road trip, many individuals pledged to pray for us and others shared financially. We are thankful to God who is our generous giver. He has been faithful by directing His saints to give to our needs. Many faithful believers have given money in order for us to proclaim His Word overseas. For this we are most grateful.

Goal: Attend July 2013s Field Prep Seminar

We are still anticipating attending July 2013 Field Prep Seminar in Atlanta, a two-week requisite course before moving to Ireland. In order to attend we need to be at our 75% support level. We sometimes wonder how this will be accomplished, but were reminded that God is the God of the impossible. God has not called us to simply do great things He has called us to do the impossible things through Him! This is our prayer. Would you pray with us?

Do you believe in the Son of God?

During last Sunday evenings service, we were encouraged constantly to be asking this question. The preacher should never take this question for granted with his hearers, the Sunday school teacher with his students, the parent with his children. Charles Spurgeon, the great preacher, said: Dear child, dost thou believe on the Son of God? for, if not all that pretty talk of thine, and all those hopeful feelings of thine, will bring thee no solid, lasting good. Unless thou believest in Jesus, thou art outside the bounds of the kingdom of grace. Spurgeon continues, The people, who need to have this question most plainly put to them, are probably, those who have had godly parents, and who have been brought up under religious influences. It is an untold blessing to have had godly parents: it is an unspeakable mercy to have been in the habit of attending a place of worship from our childhood: but there are dangers connected with even these blessings . . . . To ask such people whether they believe in the Son of God must surely be a piece of impertinence! Yet, I venture to say that there are no people in the whole world who need more to be asked that question than they do.

New Church in Carrigaline, Ireland

On our latest trip to Ireland (Jan-Feb of 2011), we were blessed to stay with Kevin and Eileen OKeeffe. (To read their testimonies visit our website: www.lightofireland.wordpress.com under Newsletter, October 2010) They have been hosting weekly Bible studies in their own home reaching out to the Carrigaline community. We are so excited for Kevin and Eileen and their new church plant which just launch in Carrigaline on the 15th of July. They had twenty people in attendance a great number for a starting church in Ireland. They are off to an awesome start. To God be the praise. Please pray for them and the success of this outreach. God is using this work mightily, and we are excited about their success. Also, pray for the OKeeffes as they continue to raise their support so they can go into full-time ministry.

Baby News
We are ecstatic that Darleens due date is only 4 weeks away! Addie (30 months) loves to pat her mamas belly and say Baby. William (14 months), on the other hand, has no idea what the bump really is . . . . He finds mommys tummy very exhilarating to use as he climbs all over her. May God richly bless you in your service to our Lord! Kevin, Darleen, Addie, & William
