Candidates should report before 9.00 A.M. in the office of Principal, Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing), Sector-26, Chandigarh along with original testimonials and one Xerox copy and one photograph as per above schedule. The Qualifications, Experience and Age for the posts are as under: A. Qualifications & Experience: 1. Professor (Electronics & Communication Engineering):B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Experience : Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/or Research and/or Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR/patents records shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at Managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, planning executing, analyzing quality control innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents, etc. as deemed fit expert members of the Selection Committee. *Equivalence for Ph.D. is based on publication of 5 International Journal papers, each Journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with incumbent as the main author and all 5 publications being in the authors area of specialization. 2. Assistant Professor (Electronics & Communication Engineering): B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.

Professor (Computer Science & Engineering):B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.d. in Computer Science & Engineering. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Assistant Professor (Civil Engineering):B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. Assistant Professor (Applied Science Mathematics, Physics, Communication Skills English):i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in discipline for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. AGE: Not exceeding 50 years for Professor, 35 years for Assistant Professor.
