c project 2/9/11 In the play Julius Caesar, written by Shakespeare Caesar had great power, and to Rome that was clear In the beginning he finally defeated Pompey But no one knew that he had epilepsy Caesar was praised by mostly all Marallus and Flavius wished that he would fall By marc Antony the great Caesar was offered the crown thrice But Caesar refused, because he knew it wasnt right So Marcus Brutus was supposedly Caesars best friend They were supposed to be close until the end Im sure Caesar didnt know how soon that would be According to the soothsayer, March 15th Caesar was warned many times But he didnt listen, maybe it was pride Brutus was tricked by Caius Cassius and all of his lying There were notes left on his chair in different handwritings In Brutuss thought, they were from all of Rome But Cassius knew who they were all from So Brutus joined the conspirators that day Brutus convinced them to not kill Marc Antony The ides of March soon came to be Calpurnia warned Caesar again, she had a dream Decius Brutus tried to make the dream sound good And of course it worked, just as it should As Caesar rushed to capitol for his meeting

Mia Murray Dewberry j.c project 2/9/11 Artimedorus gave him a letter worth reading But Caesar just ignored the man He didnt know that was his last chance He went in the capitol, to meet with other men They crowded him with issues and surrounded him In this crowd Casca pulled out his knife He got the first stab, to end Caesars life They conspirators all stabbed one by one et tu brute, then fall Caesar, and the job was done They bathed their hands in mighty Caesar's blood As if they were children playing in the mud Somewhere in this time, Antony fled So he wouldnt be killed, he sent his servant instead They assured him he was safe, so he came alone He wanted to know why they murdered Caesar, who treated Antony like his own They explained why to Antony, and he said he understood But Cassius knew Antony was up to no good Brutus agreed to let Antony speak at the funeral There were 3 conditions and he had to agree to them all Marcus Brutus made his speech Against Caesar the crowd angrily screeched So time for Antonys speech finally came He was determined to clear Caesars name He said his words, and showed the will That was enough to make the crowd want to kill

Mia Murray Dewberry j.c project 2/9/11 Poor Cinna the poet shared a name And just for that reason, he was maimed Octavius, Antony, and Lepidus formed a triumvirat Which is a 3-way split government They planned to go to war Until Brutus and Cassius were no more The war progressed and Antony started to win But Brutus and Cassius got in an argument Cassius was taking bribes to skip towns on the map In Brutuss thoughts that made him a sap They made up, with friends that always happens after But in the next scene Cassius that Titinius was captured He had his servant kill him, but he was very wrong Those people werent the enemies, friends they were among Titinius comes in, to see this great dead man Then he too kills himself, I guess that was his plan Brutus found the bodies, and had himself killed Antony saw this and wasnt too thrilled A noble roman Brutus was called And that my friend, finished it all.
