THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM ----------------------------------------The Quicky Password Generator is fast, efficient, and small.

It maintains separate groups of 100,000 passwords at a time of 4 to 20 characters. The passwords are displayed and can be copied to your clipboard easily or exported to a file. You can specify random passwords to be generated from alphabetic, numeric, alphanumeric, uppercase only, lowercase only, mixed and/or specified characters. Passwords can be variable length and may include special characters. ----------------- VERSION HISTORY ------------------- Version 2.0 -NEW: Added more detailed character specifications. (ie. lower case only, individual characters, etc.) NEW: Added database capabilities so that separate password groups can be maintained. Each group can have different a different description. Future enhancement will include a feature to compare other password groups when generating new passwords. NEW: Password Notes can be added to individual passwords so that distribution information can be saved and searched later. NEW: Information keyed into the Password Notes can be searched to show only certain passwords with a specified word or phrase. For example, you can search to see what password was given to Bob Smith on the company website or what Shannon Witty's password is on the Novell server. NEW: The settings for each password group are saved so that generating new passwords uses the same parameters. NEW: The file export function now includes the password id number padded with zeros so that it can be easily stripped off with an editor if it is not desired. CHG: Version 1.x is freeware.
