CLUBS PURPOSE

To contribute to the development of our fellow student by imploring values, enhancing their skills through constant practice and living the spirit of martial arts through the psychology of sports. Gain honors for the school and the club through competitions while acting an ambassadors of friendship and goodwill.

CLUBS VISION
We perceive a club and organization with a dynamic studentry through the influence and motivation of taekwondo as a martial arts, science and sport

CLUBS MISSION
To enrich the values and skills we uphold as individuals here in our beloved school. Instill the virtues of discipline, patience, humility and hard work among us. Train our athlete to be bemedalled athlete. To guide and share our learning to the new students who are interested to learn and uphold taekwondo. The most important of all, is to build a strong network of relationship with our moderator, instructor and fellow practitioners.

The Students oath


I realize what spirit of taekwondo represents and I will obey the instructions of the teachers placed above me. I will demonstrate the spirit of taekwondo within my daily life and I will have a strong sense of justice. I will, with the best of my ability, to try to develop my mind and body, and I will keep my faith in my fellow students. I will obey my parents, volunteer dedicated service to my country and will strive to be productive member of society.

Preamble
We, the people and practitioners of Taekwondo in St. Agnes Academy, hereby pledge full allegiance and affiliation to the PTA founded and nurtured by Grand master Hong Sung Chon. We recognize the contribution that Grand master Hong Sung Chon has made to Taekwondo in Philippines and the world. Therefore, we are forever loyal and forever students of Grand master Hong Sung Chon. It is our duty to serve the art and organization of Taekwondo in our school. As students of the St. Agnes Academy and practitioners of Taekwondo, we pledge to support the STEWARDS club and its laws thereof as well as the PTA constitution and by-laws as long as they do not conflict with the Philippine Constitution and the laws thereof. For the purposes of this document, the terms listed below which appear thought out the Constitution, are defined as follows: Black Belt - a person who has passed the black belt examinations set by the PTA Instructor - They may be school owners, independent instructors, or sole practitioners Dan Black Belts. Student - a member of the public who trains under an Instructor, and is considered to be a member of the respective training school or training class operated by the instructor

Article 1: Mission Statement


This organization shall be known as the Society of Taekwondo Enthusiast with Artistic, Refined and Determined Skills Club. The recognized abbreviation of the Taekwondo Club shall be STEWARDS CLUB. The purpose of the Taekwondo Club is to provide social, competitive, and Athletic opportunities to its members

Article II - Objectives
Promotes the Korean art of self-defense known as Taekwondo (TKD) through friendly relations and understanding among its members. To govern the teaching and demonstration of Taekwondo by taking steps that shall be deemed necessary or advisable to prevent infringement of the Statutes, By-laws and Regulations of the club or clubs Constitution, By-laws and Regulations. To regulate by introduction of proper methods or practice of Taekwondo in School To insure that there shall be no discrimination against a member, an individual member or other participant in Taekwondo for reasons of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or politics. To coordinate and regulate Taekwondo activities around the school campus through meetings, conferences, seminars, camps, championships and other events. Study and present technical, sport, organizational, ethical and moral innovations and standards. To resolve discrepancies and conflicts between or among members and organizations in the School To unify and standardize Taekwondo activities in the school

To advise on and safeguard the interest of the Art in the school To administer its funds for the furtherance of Taekwondo nationally, including championships, seminars, displays, competitions and to raise any monies that may be required for the purpose of the I.T.F. USA in such terms and on such security as may be required.

To do such other lawful acts as is incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objects or any part of them.

Article III: Taekwondo Executive Council The Executive Council shall be the governing body of the Taekwondo Club Society. Members of the Executive Council must possess at least a yellow belt degree The Executive Council shall consist of at least four members to be elected by members of the General Membership of the Taekwondo Club. These officers are as follows: 1. President 2. Vice - President 3. Secretary 4. Treasurer 5. Auditor A majority of the vote is needed to gain election to Executive Council. Nominations to office in the Executive Council can be self-nominated and/or by another member in good standing. An Executive Council members term will last one (l) academic year, beginning at the conclusion of the previous councils term and ending at the last meeting in March The newly elected president shall serve as the president during the subsequent school year months.

If the newly elected president cannot fulfill his/her obligation during his or her term, a temporary president shall be appointed to fill position until fall term. Any Executive Council member may be impeached by a two-thirds vote of the council The committee can raise funds and invite or receive donations on behalf of the club. Article IV: Advisor The advisor of the Taekwondo Club shall be a one recognized faculty member of St. Agnes Academy. The advisor will preferably be, but not limited to, St. Agnes Academy resident Taekwondo Instructor. The advisor shall: Have all privileges of an active member, except those of voting at Meetings and elections, nor shall the faculty advisor be permitted to hold office Assist the Taekwondo Club in projects of interest Assist the Treasurer and President in preparing a budget for the next fiscal year. Article V: President The president of the taekwondo club shall be recognizing as a student of St. Agnes Academy. He/ she must be a senior; had a leadership experience and responsible.

The president can: Instruct the black belts Start the training and give punishments Held meetings Initiate collections Article VI: Vice President The vice president of the taekwondo club shall be recognizing as a student of St. Agnes Academy. He/ she must be a junior student; had a leadership experience and responsible. The vice-president can: Instruct the black belts Start the training and give punishments if the president is not around Held meetings Initiate collections Article VII: Black belts The black belt of the taekwondo club shall be recognizing as a student of St. Agnes Academy. He/ she must be a legal black belter and passed all promotion. Can be in any year level of the school
