About International Youth Forum

International Youth Forum is an initiative by Alexis Society, a not-for-profit & non-political organization focussed on providing a platform for youth leadership development. It is one of its kind endeavour to bring together the youth from all over the world and exhort them to work towards effective Policy, Change and Development. International Youth Forum12 is slated to be organised from June 24-28, 2012 at Sharda University Campus, Noida. In span of these five days, delegates will learn and share the best practices & solutions to the common problems facing the world. The forum will be centred on the theme of Role of Youth in Indian Renaissance with several Open sessions, Panel discussions, Competitions, Workshops, Delegates presentations, Action group meetings, Informal evening events and much more. Each session will be followed both by Q&A session and resolution. Some of the topics that will be deliberated upon are public policies, elections, active citizenry, social entrepreneurship, journalism and rise of social media. After the event, delegates & organizers will work throughout the year to come up with well-documented reports which will thereafter be submitted to several state & federal governments around the world. The forum will have more than 300 delegates from various countries across the globe.

Aims: To craft an annual action plan on which the delegates and organizers will work throughout the year and send documented reports to the Government of India and various International Organizations. We are compassionate about the ideas which have an impact at the grassroots level and which also provide feasible solutions to our existing challenges. To provide a platform to young people to channelize their innovative ideas that address issues of national and international importance.

Outcomes: All the resolutions will be compiled as the Declarations of the International Youth Forum and shall be submitted to the Honble President, Honble Chief Ministers of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh & Ministry of Youth Affairs, GOI. All the sessions of the conference will be recorded and compiled into suitable formats to maintain proper archives so that they can be used for propagation of democratic values. The delegates participating in the conference will serve as the Alumni of International Youth Conference. A common online forum will be created exclusively, where the delegates will be able to interact & exchange their ideasthoughts.
