Haggai 1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

The Pleasure of God 5. The Reassurance I am with you It is not when they sacrificed that the Lord assures them His presence. It was when they obeyed. To obey is better than sacrifice. All we need to do - take the first step.

The Pleasure of God 7. The Resumption of work Did work God stirs us not for some spiritual experience but to strengthen us to keep his command. To do His work. In 23 days after Haggai began his ministry, all were equipped now for the work. They did not wait for the kings order
