We are pleased to announce and welcome Don LaForge, our new on-site personal trainer here at Fireside. He comes to us with tons of experience and a passion for health and people! You can start scheduling your training sessions now, by calling the Fitness Front Desk. Look for Don in the Fitness Center, starting on August 6th! Here is a little more information from him:
My name is Don LaForge and I have been a Certified Personal Trainer for 23 years specializing in all aspects of fitness, including nutritional guidance and meal planning. I hold bodybuilding titles and have a passion toward helping others achieve their fitness goals. I also have a background in Nutraceuticals, including knowledge of sports supplements, vitamins, medicinal herbs and Ayurvedics. I have a MS in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Nutrition, but have also earned my degree in Biotechnology. I love spending my free time with my girlfriend, Ingrid, and her dog Scrappy. I also enjoy hiking, going to the movies and attending church. Some of my favorite hobbies are golfing and bowling. I look forward to joining Team Fireside and helping you, the residents, get fit and healthy. If you utilize Kids Korner more than three times a week, you may want to consider purchasing our $35 Kids Korner Reservation Pass. This pass allows you to reserve space in Kids Korner for the entire month, however reservations must be made during the first 3 days of the month.
In beautiful Sedona well enjoy TWO fully-narrated tours on the Sedona Trolley! One tour visits the south side of town showcasing the upscale Gallery District including the famous Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village and is highlighted by a 15-20 minute stop at the inspirational Chapel of the Holy Cross. The other tour visits the west side and then leaves town entirely, heading out into the gorgeous Dry Creek Valley with stunning vistas of Boynton and Long Canyon. Two stops along the way make for great photo opportunities. Following our trolley tour, well have plenty of time for shopping and lunch (on own) in downtown Sedona. Well stop at the Rock Springs Cafe on the way back -- get one of their famous pies to take home!
