RAMDAN FOOD DISTRIBUTIONPHASE-III

Alhamdulillah we have delivered the Ramadan Food Packs to more than 1108 families in
phase I and II of Ramadan Iftaar Project and benefited about 8328 individuals so far in Pakistans northern Attock ,Chakwal, Rawalpindi District as well as impoverished villages of near Federal Territory Islamabad. Our hope is that this effort will eventually help thousands of needy and poor Pakistanis to put food on their tables during the Holy month of Ramadan through the generous support of The Lady Fatemah (a.s) Charitable Trust UK and their donors. Phase III of Ramadan Iftaar Project 2012 we have distributed the Food Packages amongst 250 families and benefited about 1998 individuals in Trait Saydaan, Tarlai, Tramri and Khanna Pull of District Rawalpindi of Punjab Province and remote areas of Federal Territory Islamabad Pakistan.
Madinatul Ilm Charitable Trust (MICT) in keeping with its previous support for individuals in need of food through the holy month of Ramadan would like to appeal for support from Lady Fatemah Trust (LFT) to extend generous support for this holy and worthwhile cause. This is vital in order to help individuals and families stricken by the effects of high inflation and poverty across Pakistan which makes it impossible for many to make their two ends meet. Furthermore, there are areas where people living below the poverty line are still living their lives in abject poverty and need. A gesture which provides them food support during Ramadan can go a long way in facilitating their most important fundamental needs. At MICT, through the generous support of Lady Fatemah Trust, we intend to arrange food packages to be delivered prior to the Holy Month of Ramadan around the Pakistan. This program has been an on-going project, right through the year from the support of well-wishers. But during the Holy Month of Ramadan, it is acquires an added significance. The food packages are supplied to 250 families in below mentioned remote villages of District Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The recipients of these packages include elderly people, orphans or single mothers with two / three children whose bread earners have either died or simply abandoned them. Here is a list of the areas where we supplied the food packages:
