Letting go.

There are many reasons, that are just one reason, why the process of awakening to ones true nature, often runs parallel to a process of letting go. Letting go of belongings, relationships, expectations and mostly perceptions. Perceptions that you have of yourself, perceptions that you have of others, and perceptions that others have of you. This is of course is a paradox unto itself for there is no you and there are no others. We are all just having a conversation with ourselves, through each other between the universal ego and the universal consciousness within all. Within this, there is no judgment of ego, judgment of consciousness or judgment of judgment either. For all that the judgment is telling us, is how we are perceiving ourselves. Within the realms of perception there is always something to interpret and once we recognise that we are simply talking to the collective self, in all, then we stop interpreting. We stop being angry with others, for that simply means that we are angry with...ourselves. We stop having expectations of others and ourselves. We stop being attached to others and we stop being attached to ourselves. It is for this reason that the process of letting go becomes so easy and when it is perceived it can even be interpreted as a lack of compassion or even have an element of inhumanity. In truth, there actually is a lack of caring. When you start to recognise that there is just one voice choosing to speak within an experience of suffering or oneness, then you start to stop caring what you or anyone thinks. For there is no difference. You. Anyone. All the same. All just one living being. Choosing the experience. Choosing what to perceive. Until perception itself is transcended. Until there is no longer a choice, yet always in the space of the most freedom. After a while, the space of choice becomes so intuitive that there is no longer a choosing. All is as intuitive as breathing. Soon the letting go is let go off, becoming, ecstatic surrender.
