Mission
The D12s mission parameters involve scouting out new worlds ripe for conquest. When not searching for new world to conquer for the Empire, the D12 patrols the borders of the Empire, ensuring no invaders bypass their line of defense.

Background
The D12 proved an extremely popular warship in the late 23rd-century Klingon Empire, as its speed and power were much desired. Only with the introduction of the Brel and KVort-class Birdsof-Prey would its popularity slide.

Features
The D12 is a variant Bird-of-Prey that still relies on stealth, but also relies on packing as much firepower into its small frame as possible. With its prototype disruptors and KP5 photon torpedoes, the D12 has enough firepower to nearly equal the much larger Ktinga-class, but retain the maneuverability of a typical Bird-of-Prey. The D12s primary weakness is in its plasma coils, through which the cloaking device is tied, which lead to a vulnerability in its cloaking system.
