THE HARTFORD TAVERN HAS NEW OWNERS!

Cecilia, and Paul Brummagyn, residents of Hartford, have purchased the Tavern and in conjunction with their daughter, Tanya, began operating the business on June 15 of this year. All three have a good deal of experience in the restaurant business, either as waitress, bartender, short order cook or otherwise. We asked Cecilia , Why Hartford? She replied: Well, this is my hometown; my family loves it here, and our commute is very short. We have been coming to the tavern as patrons and have enjoyed it. We have wanted to own a business like this for some time, and when the Tavern came on the market we jumped at the opportunity. Cecilia indicated that they have not made many changes, yet. They have kept the down-home atmosphere, where people can come to relax and escape the hum-drum of their hectic lives. There will be some changes to the menu; right now they are not offering daily specials, but you may order from a nicely varied menu. Cecilia did say, We are planning to have live music on Saturday nights, featuring local bands. They also participate in special events, such as a motorcycle rally stop they enjoyed recently. The tavern is located at 77 Christian Hill Road (just off Main Street) in Hartford. Their hours are 10am til midnight weekdays and 10am-4am weekends. You may call them at 518-632-5248 or stop in. When you do, let them know we suggested it.
