The Soundarya Lahari is not only a poem. It is a tantra textbook,
giving instructions on puja and offerings, many yantras, almost one to
each shloka; describes tantric ways of performing devotion connected
to each specific shloka; and details the results ensuing.
Soundarya Lahari, meaning waves of beauty consists of two parts,
Ananda Lahari meaning waves of happiness (first 41 stanzas) and
Soundarya Lahari(the next 59 stanzas). It is believed that Lord
Ganesha himself has etched the Ananda Lahari on Mount Meru.
These 100 stanzas are supposed to be the foremost among Manthra
literature. It is also believed that by Making suitable Yanthras and
reciting particular stanzas and worshipping the yantras almost
anything can be obtained in the world.
Soundarya Lahari Sloka No.70 :
"Mrunaaleemrudvinaam Thava Bhujalathaanaam Chathasrunaam
Chathurbhihi Soundaryam Sarasijabhavaha Stauthi Vadanaihi!
Nakhebhyaha Santhrasyan Prathamamathanaadanthakaripoho
Chathurnaam Sheershaanaam Samamabhayahasthaarpanadhiyaa!"

For Relief From Fear - 70
Yantra For Soundarya Lahari Sloka No.70 :
Literal Meaning : The lotus-born Brahma, being afraid of the finger-
nails of Sadaashiva, with which the latter once nipped off Brahmaa's
fifth head, is now praising, simultaneously with the remaining four
faces, the loveliness of Thy creeper-like four arms resembling the
lotus-stalk in beauty, so that Thou might give protection to His
surviving four heads.
Mode of Worship : Yantra to be made on gold plate. Sit facing East.
Chant this sloka 1008 (1000) times daily for 48 (45) days.
Goddess of this Slokha : Shri Gayatri Devi
Archana : Chant Lalitha Sahasranamam offering vermillion.
Offerings: Cooked rice mixed with turmeric powder, coconut, honey,
betels with areca nut slices.
Beneficial Results : Success in particular endeavour for which
meditation is intended, freedom from Shiva-apachaaraa, relief from
fear. Maintains the sanctity of life. Gets devoid of 'Shivakopam'
Literal Results : Great beauty, clarity and wisdom, ideal for
instrumentalists, sculptors and dancers.
