You are surrounded by thousands of beautiful people below the star-strewn skies, enveloped by an embracing summer wind, and a quiet deep jungle. A curly-haired and bright-eyed man appears on stage, and whispers several piercing words that open for you a door to another world. And then, a sound is heard, joined by another, and then a singing voice, and another instrument begins to play and you start forgetting where you are, what time it is, and who you are When suddenly BOOM! The banging of the drums rattle the hearts seated in your chests, and an electrifying rhythm washes over you like a gigantic tsunami of energy and love. You give in to that wave, you let go, lose yourselves inside it, move, and reconnect to the ancient rhythm that has been beating deeply inside of you since the dawn of time. Meet AmirYa and his Tribal Dance ensemble, a group combining ancient tribal instruments such as the didgeridoo and the tom-tom drums with modern electronic instruments. The resulting tunes form a unique, captivating, hypnotizing and sensual music: an alternative state of mind, a powerful and addictive experience. You will never understand it until you experience it yourselves this is not exactly a performance, not really just a party, its actually nothing like anything youve seen before.

A man with a story creates powerful music

The architect of this experience is the musician AmirYa: a composer, drummer, singer, arranger, musical producer and founder of the Israeli Tribal Dance ensemble (the name denotes its musical style). AmirYa received the inspiration for this music while visiting a remote African village, during a trip to Africa many years ago. At a traditional local ceremony, authentic tribal music was being played, and the ceremonys participants began dancing to its tunes and entering into a deep trance. The experience left a profound impression on AmirYa, and inspired him to create the unique musical project he continued to lead to this day.

One strong love, many different tunes

AmirYa and his Tribal Dance ensemble had performed hundreds of times around the world, and even played, on several occasions, in collaboration with leading artists of varying and diverse musical styles and backgrounds. In addition, AMIRYA recorded several singles and CDs with this and other ensembles. What will be Amiryas next project? Its hard to tell But it is certain that it will contain a myriad of captivating tunes that will penetrate every pore in your skin, and a renewed ancient spell that will entice you, and force you to connect and move. Your minds will depart from their mortal cage and wander elsewhere, to a place you have never been to before, but, for some reason, have been yearning to for a long time.
