Tests and quizzes will be sent home to be reviewed by parents within 4 class days. Students will be able to make-up a failing test grade by coming in for a tutoring session and then coming in for a scheduled test make-up time. Test make-ups must be scheduled no later than one week after the original test was given.
Parent/Student/Teacher Contact All of my contact information is available on the front side of your syllabus. You may use any of these methods to contact me.. I work hard to respond to all contact within 24 hours. If you havent heard from me in 48 hours, please do not hesitate to contact me again. Email is the best form of communication as I have it with me at all times. Twitter is to be used for student contact for homework clarification, questions on upcoming due dates, tests, etc. I recommend this form of contact for Student/Teacher so that any questions can be answered in a timely manner.
This side should be facing your notebook and will not be seen once you have glued it down. :)

Classroom Guidelines Arrive to class on time Be prepared with your supplies and completed homework Show respect to others Ask questions! Use resources and time efficiently and properly Listen carefully and follow directions Engage and work hard inside and outside of class Attendance Every day is important in our class. Your success is dependent on you being in class and on time each and every day. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get your work and the notes that you missed. Assignments will be posted on the class blog and all handouts will be in the assignment crate.. It is your responsibility to retrieve these when you return. Homework due on the day that you missed will be due the day you return (even if you do not see me that day). If you miss the class the day before a test and return on the day of a test, you will be expected to take the test as scheduled. If you have missed two or more days before a test and return the day of the test, we will schedule a time for you to make-up the test.
You will earn your math grades by actively participating in class and completing classwork, your Interactive Notebook, homework, quizzes, projects, participation, tests and semester exams. Grades will be 50% daily work and 50% tests. If for some reason you do not have your homework on the day it is due, you have 2 class days to turn it in for a maximum grade of a 70. After the second class day, no credit will be given. Late work CAN NOT be corrected. To be able to redo an assignment you must schedule a tutoring time within three class days of the graded assignment. Homework
Homework is assigned on a regular basis and is due on the assigned date. You are expected to write the due date on the top of your paper in class. Homework is due by the end of the class on the day that it is due. (You will not have time
to work on it in class but will have time to ask questions for clarification.) Assignments will
also be listed daily on the classroom blog.
