The life of Chaba reveals to us how a single tragedy can change someones life and make one go astray, and how once you have become part of a world of crime it is not easy to get out. His friendship with George teaches him that humans are priceless.

The Price of Humans is a touching story of a young Jamaican boy named Chaba, who witness the senseless murder of his father, and grew up to endure unimaginable abuse and exploitation, until he learnt about justice, truth and equality.

In the midst of his seemingly endless struggles, Chaba meets a young executive named George Mogo who was battling his own marital problems. Despite their huge socio-economic differences, they turn out to be good friends and soon influence each other in such a way that their attitudes towards life and people change. Their friendship and loyalty towards each other brings about a transformation in both of them. Priscilla, the lady who loved George unconditionally, tries to makes him realize that it is never too late to correct ones mistakes. Chabas influence soon pulls George deep into a world of crime, abuse and exploitation, forcing everyone to make choose between survival at any cost and morally sound decisions.

The book explains the atrocities that many poor people routinely face as they are misused by wealthier and more powerful people. It portrays a dark world of crime, where people do not understand the language of emotions and express feelings for one another as they all search d esperately for power and money. This book has a perfect blend of elements like friendship, loyalty, drama, action, political injustice and corruption.
