It will help you do everything from planning a garden (Geometry, Meteorology, pest control, planting season) to balancing a check-book (addition, subtraction). What about cooking? Lots of Science and Chemistry there! Knowledge and understanding of Art (color, forms, proportions, etc) can even help you dress better! It will make your entire life more meaningful and successful. The more you know about specific things, the more you can connect the individual, separate facts to other facts. This leads to UNDERSTANDING. If you understand History, it will help you understand Politics. If you know the facts of leader's and politician's lives, it will help you understand History. If you understand Psychology, and Sociology, it will help you understand how people and cultures act and interact. This will help you understand Politics and History. If you understand Math, it will help you with Finance and Economics. If you understand Finance, it will help you understand Economics. If you understand Music and Art, Poetry, and Literature, it will help you understand yourself, people, and cultures, and History. Hence, and from our understanding for the importance in general knowledge in building a civilized society, anew starting magazine for general knowledge called What do you know about?! seeks proposals of writers to write in different fields of science and knowledge (i.e. Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, and Mathematics, History, Finance .etc). This magazine will be published on the internet and in a hard copy too, it will be published in both Arabic and English. The topic will be directed to the majority of society sectors with all different cultures and ages so it should be well organized, well presented and simple as well. Topics structure should follow definite contents as: 1Introduction 2- Main topic 3- Application 4- References Proposal will be received from 1st August, 2012 to 30th September, 2012 and each writer can submit only one proposal for each field.
