ra dasa otherwise callled Brahma dasa is often referred as a system to pred ict the longevity of a person. When I was trying to correlate the known events o f a particular horoscope I found that events are so well explained with basic pr inciples of Vedic astrology and suggesting me to use this dasa system. Of course the determination of Brahma for the particular horoscope is bit complicated as it appears, but the software JHora developed by Vedic astro Guru PVR Narasimha R ao makes the life simpler. Simple events like marriage, birth of child, career prospects as well as longevi ty of near and dear ones being explainable, I wonder why this dasa system is not as popular as Vimsotthari dasa system and not recommended by Vedic astro Gurus.
