CFC Youth for Christ (YFC) with the vision of Young People Being ang Bringing Christ Wherever They Are. is a family ministry of Couples for Christ (CFC) Global Mission Foundation, a Catholic Charismatic lay movement officially recognized by the Vatican. Since its official launch in 1994, YFC has spread to already 68 provinces in the Philippines and over 60 countries worldwide. Recognizing that the youth in the campuses form a major part of Gods kingdom, YFC has also brought its mission to the University / College setting, with groups established in universities in Manila such as Ateneo de Manila, UP Diliman and Manila, Miriam College, De La Salle Universty, Mapua Institue of Technology, University of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern University, San Beda College, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, as well as colleges and universities in Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Laguna and many other provinces. More than our numbers however, the Lord has blessed us with countless stories of young people coming to know the Lord and striving to improve themselves in their studies and personal lives. It is for this reason that we write to you. We in the CFC Youth for Christ community would like to ask your permission to be introduced to the student body and be recognized as an official organization as YFC Campus Based. Our objective is to evangelize the youth of today and bring them back to the Lord and the service of His Church. We believe that there is a strong need for evangelization of the youth. We realize that YFC can be of help in this work of youth evangelization, as well as serve as a support group for the students while working hand in hand with the school and the Church. Aside from this, YFC also provides opportunities for your students to be involved with nation-building through ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor). CFCs Work With The Poor Program. We believe that faith and patriotism go hand in hand, and would like to help your students play out their role in building our nation and renewing the land. And the advocacy named GREENERATION that encourages the young to have the conviction in taking care of Gods creations. YFC activities will include Youth Camps, Talks, Praisefests / concerts and Households (small peer-support groupings), ANCOP immersions. These activities will help in the growth of the faith of YFC members, leaders and their friends, helping Assumption nurture, develop women of faith, women of action.
