David Eccles has been made the subject of an anti-Social Behaviour Order (aSBO). The ASBO applies to the whole of England and Wales. He risks arrest and could be jailed if he breaches this order.

WHaT DaVID DID


Behaved in a way which caused or was likely to cause, harassment alarm or distress to a person, not of the same household as himself. Tried to enter another residents front door. When that door was shut to prevent him from entering, he began kicking the door and shouted abuse. Entered another residents property through an open door, went into the living room and shouted abuse at them and then spat in the residents face. Pushed a female resident of Adswood to the floor on Neston Grove, Adswood. Grabbed the son of the resident by the throat, then threw him to the ground and kicked him twice in his back, only to be stopped by another male. Threatened a female resident by saying Im going to smash your windows and petrol bomb your house.

He must not: by himself or by instructing, encouraging or inciting any other person: 1. Act in an anti-social manner which is likely to cause harassment alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household as himself. 2. Use abusive, insulting, offensive, threatening or intimidating language or behaviour in a public place or in any place to which the public has access. 3. Throw any missiles against any person, property or vehicle. 4. Engage in activity causing or likely to cause any persons to fear for their personal safety or that of their property or personal possessions. 5. Approach physically, communicate with or otherwise contact directly or through another person / media / electronic device, any of the named witness on the order.

If David breaks his ASBO he could face a fine or be sent to detention for up to five years.
