BoulderCrestRetreatis60milesnorthwestofWashingtonD.C.inBluemontnestledintheBlue RidgeMountains.Theretreat,oncecompleted,willoffernaturewalks,gardening,foraging, photography,birdandwildlifewatching,archeryandotheroutdooractivities.Therewillalsobe offsiteactivitiessuchastubingandkayakingontheShenandoahRiverorhikingthe AppalachianTrail. Thenewretreat,thebrainchildofKenandJuliaFaulkes,willofferalocalruralgetawayfor woundedveteransfromsomeArmymedicalcentersinthearea. Iconsiderinkindcontributionsasimportantascashcontributions,KenFalkesaidina release.
