If the eaten player is successful then they are spat out and pushed back; the eaten player can choose which of the 3 squares they are pushed to. If a Ravenous player moves into a square with the ball in, or the ball scatters onto the square the player is standing then they automatically eat it! When the ball is eaten each coach must set up again for a new kick-off and then follow the usual procedure to see who is attacking and defending. Ravenous players may only eat one player at a time. If a Ravenous player eats a ball carrier it counts as eating the ball and any players inside the stomach of a Ravenous player is automatically returned to play each Kick-Off. Jump and Spit: The Goblin Tactician can attempt to intercept the ball with Ag9. If you are successful then the player swallows the ball and immediately spits it back the way it came with force blow (St9) in one of the 3 scatter directions of your choice. The ball travels the number of squares equal to the Tacticians St. Any player that attempts to catch the ball suffers a -3 modifier. If they are unsuccessful they suffer an hit equal to the St of the Tactician minus the number of squares the ball has had to travel. A player on your own team can pass to the Goblin Tactician who can automatically intercept the ball (no BP roll is required for the catch) the Goblin Tactician can then spit the ball out. Spitting the ball out in this way cannot be performed more than once a half.
