CHARITABLE GIVING: A tradition of St. Francis Xavier Parish is to give 2% of our Sunday offerings to local and global based charities to support their efforts to build a better world. After careful deliberation, the Finance & Property Committee distributed the 2011 funds ($4,289.37) on behalf of the parish to the following: Northern Missions $1,000.00 Renfrew & District Food Bank $1,000.00 Hospice Renfrew $1,000.00 Sisters of St. Joseph, Peru $ 500.00 Missionaries of Africa $ 500.00 Bonnechere Manor Foundation $ 289.37 (Fr. Kevin Rand) (Auditorium Campaign) MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE: All couples preparing for Marriage are required to participate in a Marriage Course. This fall, a course will be offered for engaged couples planning to be married in the Diocese of Pembroke. Couples may participate in any of the sessions. The format consists of a Friday evening and two full Saturdays approximately 2-3 weeks apart.
