Another Interesting Meeting at NCS

Special Guest Speaker
Lt. Col. Ron Stefanik, USAF
Lt. Col. Ron Paco Stefanik gave a very stimulating presentation, with slides on basically how to achieve your goals in life. He gave his personal experiences starting when he was the age of our Cadets. He was not in CAP. Originally he wanted to be a Dentist. Not having the finances for that endeavor he looked to the Military, like so many people. Originally he was in the Army, then the Air Force as he wasnt exactly excited about being an Infantry Officer. He was also a Major Airlines Pilot for 20 years. The Lt. Col. gave a great example of discipline as well as determination. In pilot training school for one year, he gave total dedication to that 6 days a week, nothing else. On Sundays he did unwind. Another example of achieving your goals, whether in CAP, Air Force or just in everyday life is Time Management. This is a very important factor in budgeting your time to accomplish what you want. Lt. Col. Stefanik is presently in Command and Pilot operations at Creech AFB, one hour north of our Base. He showed fascinating slides of

the vast operation of the aircraft and communications systems there. The Lt. Col. showed everyone that You can do anything you want to do, If you truely want to do it.
