Are the World’s Weather and Climate Changing?

Project Guidelines

Working in pairs or groups of three you will complete a weather project assigned by me (Mr. 
M). I’ve listed several helpful websites on the back of this page to get you started. 

Once your research has been completed, create a project that can be used to teach your 
classmates about the topic you learned about. You will be assuming the role of “teacher for a 
time” and will use your project to teach your classmates about what you have learned. 

You will need to have some sort of activity for your classmates to participate in to ensure that 
they have learned the information you have presented. Some things you might do to create 
interest i your topic and involve students could include, but is not limited to:
 having classmates view and/or conduct experiments related to your topic 
 having classmates play a game that will illustrate what they have learned about the topic you 
have presented
 administering a short quiz over what you have presented to see how much classmates have 
understood and retained about your topic
 providing classmates with an activity that encourages them to be informed about and/or 
involved in activities related to creating awareness about your topic

All members of your pair/group must be involved in “teaching” the class and should be 
available to assist classmates as they complete the activity related to your topic.

 You will NEED at least 8 cited sources for a four (4) on the rubric. You can include wikipedia.org for 
this project.   dot coms will be allowed with my approval.
 You will have a base of 20 minutes to fill. If you need more it needs to be given the green light by ME 
(Mr. M).
 The more creative the activity, the better the grade.
 You WILL NEED to dress as a teacher for this project. Button shirt, tie, etc. 
 You will be given more class time for this project than you did on the last one. ONLY if it is being used 
wisely. 
 Choose your partner wisely, you are receiving a GROUP GRADE ONLY! If you choose your good 
friend you better make sure they do their share of the work.
