Cedar Girls Secondary School has vacancies for Allied Educators in Teaching and Learning to partner our teachers in Nurturing Leaders of Character. The Allied Educators will be integral members of our team at Cedar and would be employed under the Ministry of Educations Allied Educator Scheme of Service. Job Description
As an Allied Educator (Teaching and Learning) you will work with teachers to enhance the teaching and learning of Cedarians in both academic and nonacademic areas. Your key responsibilities include:

Provide teaching and learning support for pupils within and outside classroom o Undertake co-teaching responsibilities o Provide specific and differentiated learning and remediation support for individual or a group of students

Assist in lesson planning and administer tests and evaluate students work o Assist in developing additional learning support programmes for students o Assist in building of teaching and learning resources Provide pastoral and welfare support to students o Assist in the delivering of pastoral and welfare programme for students o Provide differentiated support for their individual needs and work closely with teachers and parents for the well-being of the students Assist in the conduct of Co-curricular Programme and accompany students on visits, trips and out of school activities

Entry Requirements

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident Possess at least post secondary qualification or equivalent, preferably a diploma from any of the five local polytechnics or GCE A level certificate; and GCE O level credits in English and Mathematics Specialised knowledge and skills relevant to the secondary curriculum and learning programmes would be an advantage Aptitude and passion in developing and nurturing youths A team player with good interpersonal skills

Remuneration Package
Allied Educator (Teaching and Learning) will be appointed on the Allied Educators Scheme of Service. Successful candidates will generally be offered appointment on a 3-year renewable contract at entry level [Level 1 Allied Educator (Teaching and Learning)] which is pegged to the appointment grade of Allied Educator (AED) 14. Candidates with a wealth of experience and expertise/ skills can be considered for appointment at Level 2 Allied Educator (Teaching and Learning). The starting salary will commensurate with the academic qualifications and work experience of successful applicants. Those who have completed full-time National Service will be granted additional salary increments. The salary ranges for Allied Educators Scheme of Service are as follows:

Training
Successful candidates will be sponsored to attend a training programme and are required to serve 1-year Minimum Service Period upon successful completion of the training. You will receive a full monthly salary while undergoing training.
