Chapter

Here at Kingdom Empowerment Ministry Institute, we are very passionate about the people of God, walking in their true identity, power and authority as they operate within the calling and the gifts given by God.
KEMI is ETA certified Five-fold School of Ministry. This is a vision to teach and train all of Gods people that are believers the things necessary to help them become the Ministry gifts, and operate in the Spiritual gifts he called them to be, not having to struggle as many of us have had to struggle to become who we are becoming today. These classes will not only help those who are called to ministry but others who desire a deeper understanding about all aspects of ministry including, Music, worship, writing, Preaching and Preparing a sermon, dance ministry, armor bearer ministry, prayer ministry, helps etc. Inside our class rooms the students will have the freedom to exercise the gifts they have recognized inside themselves that they may gain wisdom and knowledge of who they are in a safe environment. KEMI was founded in Dec. 2010 by then Minister Michelle Ragland and was first implemented as a teleconference and correspondence training school. By December 2011 the first on campus classes came into manifestation at the Kingdom Restorers' Ministry International location at 111 W. Franklin Street Warrenton, NC 27589 with approximately 6 students.

Our Founder:
Pastor and Founder of Kingdom Restorers' Ministry International in Warrenton, NC 27589. Apostle Michelle Ragland is an Apostle called by God, who resides in Norlina, North Carolina. She was born in Coatesville Pennsylvania and relocated with her family to Warren County, North Carolina. She is a woman of God who seeks after God and pursues the great commission by helping others through missions, education and her love walk. She serves and has served God and various communities through outreach ministries which by Gods inspiration she has founded.

*In 2003, Journey united youth outreach was formed in N.E. Washington, DC to serve low income and at risk youth. It provided afterschool/ summer educational and recreational activities for approximately 20 youth boys and girls, She did this as she served under the Anointed Leadership of Pastor Frank L. Gibson, III of Lion of Judah Community Baptist Church. *Also in 2003, Soup Bowls For life was formed in the Maryland and Washington, DC areas, serving the homeless community in shelters and on the street. Providing them with physical food and spiritual food, the program was backed by Matt. 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. *In July 2008, Gods Anointed Women of the Word Outreach Ministry.(a bible study correspondence, newsletter and community/ international outreach ministry) was formed and founded by Minister Ragland to Educate, Empower and train women of the world to become better wives, mothers, and community leaders through the love of Christ and encouragement through personal testimonies. We currently have members in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Texas. This Ministry is founded on Christ (the Rock) first and then on James 1:22, But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Through this ministry we also provide clothes and shoes to families that have suffered a loss or hardship due to fire, homelessness or loss of employment. We have a once a year womens 2 day overnight retreat to inspire, educate and empower the women of God from all denominations and backgrounds in their walk with Christ. *Kingdom Restorers Ministry International was conceived in Sept. 2009 by the Holy Spirit of God and was launched in May 2010 as mandated by God, To restore the Love for God into the hearts of Mankind, through the Great Commission.Matt. 28:18-20

I am Equipped, Empowered and Ready for Gods Kingdom to be restored here on earth one soul at a time which is the Great Commission.(Matt. 28:18-20) I believe in the Holy trinity, God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe in full water immersion baptism as a outward act to the inward call of salvation and that in order to enter into eternal rest in Heaven, or to access the benefits and keys to the Kingdom one must be born again of water and the Spirit (John 3:3-5) I believe that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved! In His Service, Pastor Michelle Ragland Founder of Kingdom Empowerment Ministry Institute

Drop / Withdrawal Policy If a student needs to remove a class from his/her schedule once it has begun, it can be done either as a drop or as a withdrawal. The method of processing the request is based on the students attendance. A class can be dropped at any point prior to the start date of the course or once the course has begun up until the student attends the course. Attendance is defined as any submission to Blackboard within the enrollment dates of the course. This definition includes, but is not limited to, completion of the Course Requirements Checklist and the Course Introduction. Once a submission is made to Black Board within the enrollment dates of the course, courses must be removed via withdrawal. To discuss the possible consequences of a withdrawal, contact KEMI Administrator at 434222-1194. Students are expected to submit tests and course work throughout the term and/or sub-term. Students who begin attendance, but then cease progressing toward the completion of the course will be assigned a grade of "FN." Communication within Course

While email may be utilized for casual communication, graded class discussions and group collaboration are conducted inside the discussion board tool of your Blackboard course. Since this also is the primary place for making impressions both socially and academically, create messages that convey you at your best. Proper netiquette can help you be successful. Netiquette, or network etiquette, refers to the generally accepted rules for considerate behavior in online communications. Some tips to keep in mind: 1. Spend time crafting your message. This is not a textmessaging environment for quick, abbreviated conversation; it is a place for the exchange of academic knowledge. Use words that contribute to this purpose in a professional, concise manner. 2. Be sure to check your words for correct spelling and grammar. Do not write in all capital letters: its rude. Be sparing with your use of font weights like bold, italics, and underline. 3. Basic courtesy goes a long way to a good online experience. Respond politely and promptly, be patient, and appreciate differences. No vulgar, sexist, racist, biased, or other objectionable language will be tolerated. 4. Valid criticism is acceptably expressed in the form of thoughtful alternatives. Do not insult or flame others. 5. Respect one anothers privacy. Do not share e-mail addresses without permission. Do not allow anyone from outside the course to access the discussions without the previous permission of the instructor and all other group members. 6. Be careful about sharing your own personal information, especially usernames and passwords. DISCUSSION BOARD INSTRUCTIONS As part of the collaborative learning environment, you are required to interact with your classmates and course instructor in three Discussion Board forums. The interaction within this setting makes up a significant portion of your grade for this course. For each of the two graded forums, the instructor will provide you with a thought-provoking topic that will help start your online discussion. Each forum is completed in two parts over the course of two weeks. In the first

week of the forum, you will post a new thread that directly addresses the prompt provided by the instructor. In the subsequent week, you will post two meaningful replies to at least two classmates threads. Thus, for each forum you are required to post a minimum of 3 times: 1 thread and 2 replies. The instructor will observe online discussions throughout the assigned weeks and may interject his or her comments intermittently. Feel free to respond to the instructor's comments in addition to the required replies to your classmates' postings. Follow the guidelines provided below as you complete each part of the forums. THREAD: Respond to the questions/ideas that are presented in the instructors prompt. Summarize any related ideas that are presented in the Fee and Stuart textbook. For example, if the prompt asks you to identify issues that readers encounter, then you should summarize any reasons or examples that Fee and Stuart discuss in the textbook. Include at least two quotes from the assigned Fee and Stuart readings. Formal footnotes/endnotes are not required; just include the authors name and page number(s) for students and instructors to check context. Your initial thread should be at least 250 words composed in three paragraphs. Threads are due the stated deadline of the first week the forum is assigned. REPLIES: First, summarize what you think your classmate intended to communicate in his/her thread in order to remind readers of the ideas in your classmates thread and to clarify and miscommunication or misinterpretation that may occur. Second, commend at least one good point that he/she raised in his/her thread. Explain why you identified that particular point raised by your classmate. Third, contribute new information or ideas to further the discussion; present additional facts, Scriptures, or applications to the current discussion that have not yet been mentioned, or redirect the discussion to another appropriate path. Finally, encourage your classmate to continue growing in their understanding of organization, administration, and spiritual development, and/or type out a positive prayer to the Lord on behalf of your classmate. Each reply should be at least 100 words composed in one paragraph. Replies are due by the stated deadline of the second week the forum is assigned. Review the Discussion Board Grading Rubric to see the specific criteria on which you will be graded.

Correspondence Course:
Distance Education refers to any mode of instruction in which there is a separation, in time or place, between the instructor and student. EDs eligibility regulations define two types of distance education: Correspondence courses (including some courses offered on video cassettes), and Telecommunications courses offered via television, audio or computer (including the Internet). Schools use distance education to respond to students needs for alternatives to the schedules and locations at which courses traditionally have been offered. The availability of new technologies including the Internet have spurred significant growth in the number and types of distance education programs schools offer. A school may not refuse to provide FSA funds to a student because he or she is enrolled in correspondence or telecommunications courses unless the courses are not part of an eligible program. A correspondence course is a home-study course provided by a school under which the school provides instructional materials, including examinations on the materials, to students who are not physically attending classes at the school. When a student completes a portion of the instructional materials, the student takes the examinations that relate to that portion of the materials and returns the examinations to the school for grading
