2520 Prophecy 3 Days and 3 Nights Prophecy Have you ever came across this passage that made

you wonder, does this relate to our time? Luke 19:41-44 Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem 41 Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation. Is it possible that we too may not know our time of visitation? Here is what Ellen White says what happened when the truths regarding the 70 weeks and others was presented: "But the churches generally did not accept the warning. Their ministers, who as 'watchmen unto the house of Israel,' should have been the first to discern the tokens of Jesus' coming, had failed to learn the truth, either from the testimony of the prophets or from the signs of the times. As worldly hopes and ambitions filled the heart, love for God and faith in His word had grown cold; and when the advent doctrine was presented, it only aroused their prejudice and unbelief. The fact that the message was, to a great extent, preached by laymen, was urged as an argument against it. As of old, the plain testimony of God's word was met with the inquiry, 'Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed?' And finding how difficult a task it was to refute the arguments drawn from the prophetic periods, many discouraged the study of the prophecies, teaching that the prophetic books were sealed, and were not to be understood. Multitudes, trusting implicitly to their pastors refused to listen to the warning; and others, though convinced of the truth, dared not confess it, lest they should be 'put out of the synagogue.' The message which God had sent for the testing and purification of the church, revealed all too surely how great was the number who had set their affections on this world rather than upon Christ. The ties which bound them to earth were stronger than the attractions heavenward. They chose to listen to the voice of worldly wisdom, and turned away from the heart-searching message of truth." -- The Great Controversy, pg. 380."

Have you ever reviewed the 3 days and 3 nights? I believe it correlates to the 2520 prophecy. Romans 6:3 says "Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection," 1) Sign of Jesus - 3 days and 3 nights This story found in John 2:13-21 is an interesting one. It reads: 13 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money and overturned the tables. 16 And He said to those who sold doves, Take these things away! Do not make My Fathers house a house of merchandise! 17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for Your house has eaten[a]Me up.[b] 18 So the Jews answered and said to Him, What sign do You show to us, since You do these things? 19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then the Jews said, It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days? 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. 22 Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them;[c] and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

He was asked about a sign when he will clean up his house? A sign? From this story there raises some interesting questions. 1) What is Jesus' temple of his body? Ephesians 1:22-23 says that: 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. So not only is Christ's physical body to be destroyed but his church was to be destroyed also because Christ body is his church. 2) What does Jesus mean by "in three days I will raise it up?" Well in 3 days, we know that Christ's died, but was it really 3 days. Most people say that Christ died on a Friday at about 3 p.m and raised at about 6 a.m on Sunday. According to our time, that's only 39 hours. And 39 hours is not 3 days at all. So when did Christ spend 3 days dead? The answer lies in the definition of death. According to Christ, the believer is sleeping when God's breathe is taken away from them. They are not dead for true death is the separation from the father. That's why Jesus said, Matthew 9: 60..... "Let the dead bury the dead". So one could be alive and very much dead because there are separated from the father because they don't claim Jesus as their mediator. Now here is the question. When was Jesus separated from the father and therefore dead? Well, it was in the Garden of Gethsemane. No wonder Jesus said in Matthew 26:38 "......My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. So as Jesus was nearing the Garden of Gethsemane around 6 p.m on Thursday, he was carrying all the sins of the world on his shoulders. He was dead. Now, lets count: Thursday at 6 p.m to Sunday at 6 a.m is only 60 hours or 2.5 days. Shouldn't we be looking for 72 hours or 3 days? Perhaps not, according to the Bible, Genesis 1:5, a day goes from evening to morning. So if we calculate the

biblical meaning of a day, we have: Thursday 6 p.m - Friday 6 a.m (1st day) Friday 6 p.m - Saturday 6 a.m (2nd day) Saturday 6 p.m - Sunday 6 a.m (3rd day) Which is really 2.5 literal days and 3 biblical days. Peter says in 2 Peter 3:8, But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. So according to our calculations it means that 2.5 literal days would mean 2,500 years. When should we start from the death of Jesus death it would mean that Jesus will build back his church or body in approximately 2,500 years after his death. It has been nearly 2,000 years since Christ has left. Would this mean that we have approximately 500 plus years to go. Food for thought. 2) Jesus time away from his mother in the temple is an interesting story found in Luke 2:42-52. It says: 42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43 When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother[a] did not know it; 44 but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a days journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45 So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously. 49 And He said to them, Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Fathers business? 50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.

So we have Jesus being missing or apparently lost for 3 days in the temple and after giving the explanation said "He was about his father's business". We know that he was about his father's business when he went to heaven. But he is speaking to his mother here. What does that mean? This answer can be found in Matthew 12:46-50. It says 46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you. 48 He replied to him, Who is my mother, and who are my brothers? 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. So Jesus mother is his church. Therefore they that do his will are his church. So his church was looking for Jesus for 3 days and he told them. "Don't you know I must be about my father's business". 3) Jonah - A sign (3 days and 3 nights) Right before Jesus had told those who is mother really is, he had a significant occurrence with the Pharisees and it goes like this. This can be found in Matthew 12:38-41 38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the Law said to Him, Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you.39 He answered, A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here. 4) Sign of the Son of Man - the size of a man's hand In the Great Controversy, page 15, it says

The voice of God is heard from heaven, declaring the day and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivering the everlasting covenant to His people. Like peals of loudest thunder His words roll through the earth. The Israel of God stand listening, with their eyes fixed upward. Their countenances are lighted up with His glory, and shine as did the face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked cannot look upon them. And when the blessing is pronounced on those who have honoured God by keeping His Sabbath holy, there is a mighty shout of victory. Soon there appears in the east a small black cloud, about half the size of a man's hand. It is the cloud which surrounds the Saviour and which seems in the distance to be shrouded in darkness. The people of God know this to be the sign of the Son of man. In solemn silence they gaze upon it as it Page 641draws nearer the earth, becoming lighter and more glorious, until it is a great white cloud, its base a glory like consuming fire, and above it the rainbow of the covenant. What is this hand which is the sign of the Son of Man. I believe this the sign of the son of Man which all these previous passages were relating to. However, before we go there, lets look at Elijah in 1 Kings 18, who also saw this mysterious hand. 43 Go and look toward the sea, he told his servant. And he went up and looked. There is nothing there, he said. Seven times Elijah said, Go back. 44 The seventh time the servant reported, A cloud as small as a mans hand is rising from the sea. So Elijah said, Go and tell Ahab, Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you. This sign had to be connected with the time Elijah was to be

translated, or in order words, it must be connected with the coming of the angels in the cloud. This hand is also seen as the literal fall of Babylon fell under Belshazzar reign. Here is a passage in Prophets and Kings, page 528 & page 531. But soon the uninvited Guest made His presence felt. When the revelry was at its height a bloodless hand came forth and traced upon the walls of the palace characters that gleamed like fire--words which, though unknown to the vast throng, were a portent of doom to the now conscience-stricken king and his guests. Hushed was the boisterous mirth, while men and women, seized with nameless terror, watched the hand slowly tracing the mysterious characters. Before them passed, as in panoramic view, the deeds of their evil lives; they seemed to be arraigned before the judgement bar of the eternal God, whose power they had just defied. Where but a few moments before had been hilarity and blasphemous witticism, were pallid faces and cries of fear. When God makes men fear, they cannot hide the intensity of their terror. page 531 Turning to the Heaven-sent message on the wall, the prophet read, "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin." The hand that had traced the characters was no longer visible, but these four words were still gleaming forth with terrible distinctness; and now with bated breath the people listened while the aged prophet declared: "This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and

art found wanting. Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians." These words were units of weight, much like the ounce and pound or the gram and kilogram. The base unit in Babylon was the gold shekel or tekel. Twenty-five shekels made a upharsin, and fifty shekels made a mena. The phrase also therefore indicated a sum, as follows: MENA (50) + MENA (50) + TEKEL (1) + UPHARSIN (25) = 126 Furthermore, each shekel was divided into 20 gerahs (Ezek. 45:12), so the above total of 126 shekels also equals 2,520 gerahs. In Early Writings, at the coming of Christ in the clouds, those who were Seventh Day Adventist were told the same words, "Thou art weighted in the balance, and found wanting." They have the same character like Belshazzar, for they knew the powerful works of God like Belshazzar, who knew what God had done to Nebuchadnezzar. Here is the Early Writing passage as God sees them in the clouds..... Then I was shown a company who were howling in agony. On their garments was written in large characters, "Thou art weighed in the balance, and found wanting." I asked who this company were. The angel said, "These are they who have once kept the Sabbath and have given it up." I heard them cry with a loud voice, "We have believed in Thy coming, and taught it with energy." And while they were speaking, their eyes would fall upon their garments and see the writing, and then they would wail aloud. I saw that they had drunk of the deep waters, and fouled the residue with their feet--trodden the Sabbath underfoot-- and that was why they were weighed in the balance and found wanting.

This figure 2520 is on a chart that the Millerites were directed by God to produce. Ellen White says: I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand was over and hid a mistake in some of the figures, so that none could see it, until His hand was removed.Early Writings, p. 74. The man who created the Chart was called Charles Fitch. IN THE ACCOUNT OF HER FIRST VISION MRS. WHITE MAKES REFERENCE TO "BRETHREN FITCH AND STOCKMAN" AS MEN SHE MET AND CONVERSED WITH IN THE NEW JERUSALEM. BOTH WERE MINISTERS WITH WHOM ELLEN WHITE HAD BEEN ACQUAINTED AND WHO HAD TAKEN AN ACTIVE PART IN PROCLAIMING THE MESSAGE OF THE EXPECTED ADVENT OF CHRIST, BUT WHO HAD DIED SHORTLY BEFORE THE DISAPPOINTMENT OF OCTOBER 22, 1844. CHARLES FITCH, A PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER, ACCEPTED THE ADVENT MESSAGE FROM READING WILLIAM MILLER'S LECTURES AND THROUGH HIS MEETING WITH JOSIAH LITCH. HE THREW HIMSELF WHOLEHEARTEDLY INTO THE PROCLAMATION OF THE EXPECTED ADVENT OF CHRIST AT THE CLOSE OF THE 2300-YEAR PERIOD, AND BECAME A PROMINENT LEADER IN THE ADVENT AWAKENING. IN 1842 HE DESIGNED THE PROPHETIC CHART USED SO EFFECTIVELY AND REFERRED TO IN EARLY WRITINGS ON PAGE 74. HE DIED A LITTLE MORE THAN A WEEK BEFORE OCTOBER 22, 1844. HIS DEATH CAME ABOUT THROUGH ILLNESS CONTRACTED THROUGH OVER-EXPOSURE IN CONDUCTING THREE BAPTISMAL SERVICES ON A CHILLY AUTUMN DAY. (SEE PROPHETIC FAITH OF OUR FATHERS, VOL. 4, PP. 533545.) Here is the account of them in her vision in Early Writings, "We all went under the tree and sat down to look at the glory of the place, when Brethren Fitch and Stockman (two ministers Ellen knew, who died before the 1844 disappointment), w ho had preached the gospel of the kingdom, and whom God laid in the grave to save them, came up to us and asked us what we had passed through while they were sleeping. We tried to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, "Alleluia, heaven is cheap enough!" and we touched our glorious harps and made heaven's arches ring. The name as a Seventh day Adventist points to 2520 - 7 times 360 equals 2520! It all over the Bible.......1) The skin had to be circumcise for 3 days. 2) Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days, 3) The butler and the baker in Joseph prison had to wait 3 days 4) Nebuchadnezzar had to wait 7 times as a beast 5)

The hand on the wall of Belshazzar adds up to 2520 6) Jesus said he would rebuild the temple within 3 days 7) Jesus was away and missing doing his father business for 3 days 8) Naaman dipped in the Jordan river 7 times and perhaps many, many more...... Now some may ask, what about the verse in Matthew 24 which say no man knows the day or the hour? This is perhaps the biggest mistake the Adventist church has made in its history. Matthew 24, verse 36 says, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." But we don't read verse 37,38 & 39. It says, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Verse 38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark. Verse 39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Verse 40. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left. Verse 41. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Verse 42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. This passage has nothing to do with Jesus coming in the clouds. This is talking about the close of probation. No one knows when probation will close only the father and I will prove it by Ellen White also. Lets look at it. It takes us back to Noah days. It says the coming of the Son of man will be as when they eat and drink, marrying (before probation closes) until "THE DAY THAT NOAH ENTERED THE ARK". AND THEY KNEW NOT............." Therefore, this passage is equating the coming of Jesus to the time when Noah went into the ark or in other words the close of probation. Noah was in the ark for 7 days before the flood actually came, however, according to verse 39, they knew not that Christ came until the flood had come. The two men in the field are not those who are currently in the field when Christ comes looking at him in total shock. They are unaware that probation has closed. One of them is left and the other is taken. In order words, one has his name written in the book of life and the other does not. The two women at the mill also are unaware that probation has closed, however one's name is written on the book of life and the other is not. This passage is referring to the close of probation. Ellen White in Early writings supports this. Okay, the order of the verses says that in summary that the people were having a good time and then Noah entered the ark.

The first passage is Patriots and Prophets, page 103.1, here we have: As the time of their probation was closing, the antediluvians gave themselves up to exciting amusements and festivities. Those who possessed influence and power were bent on keeping the minds of the people engrossed with mirth and pleasure, lest any should be impressed by the last solemn warning. Do we not see the same repeated in our day? While God's servants are giving the message that the end of all things is at hand, the world is absorbed in amusements and pleasure seeking. There is a constant round of excitement that causes indifference to God and prevents the people from being impressed by the truths which alone can save them from the coming destruction. {PP 103.1} So if we substitute here, we have that before probation closed for Noah, there was exciting amusements and festivities. According to the Bible, verse 38 of Matthew 24, it says that in the days before the flood, there were eating and drinking etc.until that day Noah entered the ark. So, until that day would mean exactly, "As the time of their probation closed". So the order is 1) Amusements and Everyday living, 2) Noah Entering in the ark 3) Flood came. This is the same order at the end time. 1) Amusements and Everyday living, 2) Probation Closes, 3) Flood came The passage that says that he will come as a thief in the night is referring to the close of probation. Ok, Here is another passage by Ellen White in Early Writings, which proves that this passage is referring to the close of Probation. Look at the passage, pay special attention that the angels have no clue when they are going to complete the seal on God's people. Actually, the passage says that they were coming in with their cards. Jesus himself had no control over it the final decision. Only the father himself. This is the close of probation, not the coming of Jesus in the clouds. Lets read: Then my attending angel directed me to the city again, where I saw four angels winging their way to the gate of the city. They were just presenting the golden card to the angel at the gate when I saw another angel flying swiftly from the direction of the most excellent glory, and crying with a loud voice to the other angels, and waving something up and down in his hand. I asked my attending angel for an explanation of what I saw. He told me that I could see no more then, but he would shortly show me what those things that I then saw meant. {EW 37.1} Sabbath afternoon one of our number was sick, and requested prayers that he might be healed. We all united in applying to the Physician who never lost a case, and while healing power came down, and the sick was healed, the Spirit fell upon me, and I was taken off in vision.

38 {EW 37.2} I saw four angels who had a work to do on the earth, and were on their way to accomplish it. Jesus was clothed with priestly garments. He gazed in pity on the remnant, then raised His hands, and with a voice of deep pity cried, "My blood, Father, My blood, My blood, My blood!" Then I saw an exceeding bright light come from God, who sat upon the great white throne, and was shed all about Jesus. Then I saw an angel with a commission from Jesus, swiftly flying to the four angels who had a work to do on the earth, and waving something up and down in his hand, and crying with a loud voice, "Hold! Hold! Hold! Hold! until the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads." {EW 38.1} I asked my accompanying angel the meaning of what I heard, and what the four angels were about to do. He said to me that it was God that restrained the powers, and that He gave His angels charge over things on the earth; that the four angels had power from God to hold the four winds, and that they were about to let them go; but while their hands were loosening, and the four winds were about to blow, the merciful eye of Jesus gazed on the remnant that were not sealed, and He raised His hands to the Father and pleaded with Him that He had spilled His blood for them. Then another angel was commissioned to fly swiftly to the four angels and bid them hold, until the servants of God were sealed with the seal of the living God in their foreheads. Ellen White first vision in Early Writing says a lot. It talks about how the people become weary because the time seemed longer than they expected. It was not long after the passing of the time in 1844 that my first vision was given me. I was visiting a dear sister in Christ, whose heart was knit with mine; five of us, all women, were kneeling quietly at the family altar. While we were praying, the power of God came upon me as I had never felt it before. I seemed to be surrounded with light, and to be rising higher and higher from the earth. I turned to look for the advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me: "Look again, and look a little higher." At this I raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the advent people were traveling toward the city. Behind them, at the beginning of the path, was a bright light which an angel told me was the midnight cry. This light shone all along the path, that their feet might not stumble. Jesus Himself went just before His people to lead them forward, and as long as they kept their eyes fixed on Him, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and said the city was a great way off, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising His glorious right arm, from which came a light that waved over the advent band; and they shouted: "Alleluia!" Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said it was not God that had led them out so far. The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and lost sight of the mark and of Jesus, and fell off the path down into the dark and wicked world below.

Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming. The living saints, 144,000 in number, knew and understood the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder and an earthquake. When God spake the time, He poured upon us the Holy Spirit, and our faces began to light up and shine with the glory of God, as Moses' did when he came down from Mount Sinai. Some people claim that Ellen White says that the 2300 days is the longest time prophecy and therefore the 2520 cannot be of any prophetic importance. They used the following text to support this assertion: The experience of the disciples who preached the "gospel of the kingdom" at the first advent of Christ, had its counterpart in the experience of those who proclaimed the message of His second advent. As the disciples went out preaching, "The time is fulfilled, the kingdom of God is at hand," so Miller and his associates proclaimed that the longest and last prophetic period brought to view in the Bible was about to expire, that the judgment was at hand, and the everlasting kingdom was to be ushered in. The preaching of the disciples in regard to time was based on the seventy weeks of Daniel 9. The message given by Miller and his associates announced the termination of the 2300 days of Daniel 8:14, of which the seventy weeks form a part. The preaching of each was based upon the fulfillment of a different portion of the same great prophetic period. The Great Controversy, page 351 However, it is clear that Joshua Himes, who was William Millers right hand man, clearly says that YES, the 2300 is the longest of all the time prophecy but it is the longest that points to the Seven times. That means its the longest of the 1260, 1290, 70 weeks, etc. They all end in the Seven Times or the 2520 prophecy. Here is his statement. Finally. That we have entered upon a most deeply affecting season, all must admit. That the longest prophetic period which brings the end to view, the seven times, with which we may suppose all the others would be squared, in their termination, ends with this autumn, appears very evident...{September 25, 1844 JVHe, HST 62.7}
