IMPLEMENTATION PHASES
PHASE 1- Introduce the students to the JAWS (Job Access with Speech)
software, which is an independent living aid for visually impaired people. This software is the worlds most popular screen reader and provides independent access to computers and the Internet for the blind, thus providing access to information, job-related data, educational resources etc. at their fingertips.

PHASE 2- Provide exposure to team-building skills through games, group

activities and lectures. We will also be teaching the basics of organizational and management skills which are essential for every professional.

PHASE 3- Career counselling is to be provided to help the students

understand their strengths and limitations and enable them to identify a career path which suits to their skill set. A few lectures pertaining to preparation for an interview, resume writing and developing communication skills may be included.

PHASE 4- We will be educating them about sexual abuse and how the issue is
to be handled. Disabled people tend to be more susceptible to sexual abuse at the workplace or elsewhere. Hence relevant information will be provided about how to deal with this specific problem.

BENEFITS
Basic computer skills and simplified Internet access will help facilitate their learning process and will ensure that the students can function independently. Basic management skills will help them in their professional life. Career counselling will enable them to find a relevant occupation and will ensure financial independence Education about sexual abuse will help them handle similar challenges effectively.

SUSTAINABILITY
Teaching visually impaired students the various aspects as enumerated above will ensure that they benefit from our effort in the long run. We plan to continue this initiative and extend it to collecting funds for providing Braille kits, conversion of written material into audio CDs and continue to provide sessions to time to time in order to update them about the various technological advancements which may be used for their benefit.

CONCLUSION
Thus our project aims to not only teach the visually impaired the basic requirements in an organizational setup, but also aims at teaching them to be independent and ensure that that they are equipped with the necessary skill set to help them find occupations suited to their individual talents.
