27 FAIL LAWATAN

While I was kid, I looked my father cutted the wood by using the chainsaw. When I was tried to help my father to cut the wood, I could felt how hard to do that. I thought it was so good if we can use the same item without using a lot of energy to do it. Since that day, I can feel and I can see theres a lot of difficulty in my daily life. I could felt life would be easy if we have a product that we can use to help and to solve each of our problem in our daily routine. When I was 16, I was decided to continue my studies at Technical Institute. My mother was disagreed as for her technical is not the right field for girl like me. For me I was sticked with my decision because of my deep interest in technical field. Then , I continued my studied at MARA Vocational Institute in Architecture of Technology. There, I studied a lot especially how software drawing can help us to design a building in the right way. After that, I continued my studied at German Malaysian Institute (GMI) in Diploma Production Technology specialist in product design and manufacturing for 3 years. For information, GMI is the institute under MARA. GMI is a joint venture project between the government of Malaysia and Germany. When I was in GMI I could see and I could felt how the product been produced. I learned how to use machine such as NC Milling, lathe, surface grinding, rapid prototype, forming mould and CNC. And also the basic cutting process. In GMI I take my study as my hobby. It is because in GMI, we feel free to design and to produce certain product with our own creativity. I love to drop my ideas by draw, sketch and design a product by using 2D and 3D software such as Catia and Auto Cad. While doing my design I will stress on ergonomic of the product and the application of anthropometry for a long term use. Finally I can manufacture the product itself. While at Mara Vocational Institute I am attending my practical at 2 different places. One in architect firm. Here I learn how to do a site inspection, planning, design a building and finally to draw a detail of the drawing. In GMI I am doing my practical at furniture company specialist in office furniture. My hobby is jungle trekking. It is good for me to build my stamina besides I love to apply the beauty of the flora and fauna thru my design. For example in my final year project I produce a smart stacker (mould and die carrier) by referring to grasshopper. This product can be used especially for tool and die student during their presentation. It is because this product use hydraulic system in a maximum accuracy. During weekend I also love to play volleyball. It need 6 player, setter, spikier and liberal. Liberal was my favourite position. It is because liberal will be the first person who received the ball and then setter, spikier finally our enemy. Volleyball requires fast movement besides strong team work. During my secondary school my volleyball team got a second place in Kuantan district.
