With reference to this context, this project is been prepared to put a light on Recruitment and Selection process. This project includes Meaning and Definition of Recruitment and Selection, Need and P urp ose of Recruitment, Evaluation of Recruitment Process, Recruitment Tips. Sources of Recruitment through which an Organization gets suitable application. Scientific Recruitment and Selection, which an Organization should follow for, right manpower. Job Anal ysis, which gives an idea about the requirement of the job. Next is Selection process, which includes steps of Selection, Types of Test, Types of Interview, Common Interview Problems and their Solutio ns.

# Research methodology to be used for carried out the study (Detailing nature of data sources, collection methods, tools and techniques of analysis, sampling etc) An empirical study will be undertaken to understand and study the process of Recruitment and Selection. Primary Data to be obtained through personal discussion with HR department. Questionnaire to be carried out on the employees of the organization. Simple sampling to be adopted for this research. Under which we will consider the sampling which has been done for a specific designated population. The tools of collecting data included questionnaires, interviews and personal observation. The data collected will be analyzed in the theoretical form.

Tools for Data Collection Most of the data to be collected by the researcher is primary data through personal interview, where the researcher and the respondent operate face to face. The researcher has used a structured questionnaire as a research instrument tool. Tools for Data Analysis The statistical tools used for analyzing the data collected are percentage method, chi square, bar diagrams and pie diagrams.

# expected contribution from the study. Recruitment is the first step in the employment of labor. It is considered as the most important function of personnel administration because if right people are not hired to execute the plans, even the best plans of the organization may fails, every organization is having its own recruitment requirements, after the study we would able to find out : It will provide a broad idea about the procedure and pattern of recruitment & selection with in the organization. Recommendations to enhance the policies and process for effective recruitment and selection with in the organization. To Understand the critical role of recruitment Identify the appropriate recruitment sources Understand selection tools and methods.

# Limitation There may be problems like the reluctance of the respondents to give the mutual response. They were not willing to reveal their exact expectations and the loopholes regarding the systems. Also the respondents were unwilling to fill up the questionnaires. Personnel department may be reluctant to share the actual information. The survey is subjected to the bias and prejudices of the respondents. Hence 100% accuracy cant be assured. The researcher was carried out in a short span of time, where in the researcher could not widen the study. The study could not be generalized due to the fact that researcher adapted personal interview method. # Directions of future research.

We will try to eliminate the biased & prejudiced samples to maintain the max accuracy. We have taken small sample size to complete the research with the given time frame. We will take the average of sample collected to reach the generalized conclusion.
