1. PURPOSE

: Method of Statements for Loading and Unloading Work of Acoustic Canopy of 1560kW Gas Engine for Top Glove : Supply Acoustic Canopy for Gas Engines 1560kW and 1200kW : SP Energy Sdn Bhd : 19 July 2012

To describe method of works for unloading acoustic canopy of gas engine 1560kW at ISTIQ factory, transport and loading onto plinth at factory F11Top Glove.

2. SCOPE OF WORK The scopes of works are divided into two parts: At ISTIQ Factory: 2.1 Dismantling of Intake Systems and Top Skids on the Acoustic Canopy. Intake systems (consists of louvers, filters and silencers), exhaust systems skids and radiators skids positioned on top of the canopy will be dismantled. Lifting of the Canopy. The Canopy will be lifted by a 60 tons crane truck from fabrication area. Cables will be attached at the lifting lugs located at the skid of the canopy, and these cables will be secured to 2 units of spreader bar. This method is used to avoid any contact from the canopy to the cables or vice versa. Positioning the Canopy onto a Low Loader Truck. The Canopy will be lifted by a 60 tons crane truck and will be positioned onto a 45 feet low loader truck. Delivery to Site The Canopy will be delivered to site: F11 Factory, Top Glove, Meru by a 45 low loader truck.

At F11 Factory, Top Glove 2.5 Entrance to the Site The 60 tons crane will be parked besides the road divider and the low loader truck will be park in reverse position for lifting works. For a clearer view please refer the diagram below:

Lifting the Canopy from the Low Loader onto the Plinth. 2.6.1 The 60 tons crane truck will lift the canopy from the low loader truck onto the plinth as per the Clients requirement. 2.6.2 The crane truck will initially lift the canopy from the low loader truck onto the plinth (just placing the canopy onto the plinth without any adjustment due to crane arms limit). 2.6.3 The crane truck will move closer to the plinth and position the canopy into the right position.
