Pioneers in Clean Air Systems

Dust Collection
MAC Equipment has pioneered the development of many air filtration technologies which enable those in petrochemical to create an emission and dust free operation, benefiting their own production processes as well as improving the environment which surrounds their processes. It is important that petrochemical handling facilities employ dust collection systems that: X X X X are uniquely designed per plant specifications conform to or exceed OSHA & NFPA68 expectations are specifically designed to be maintenance friendly limit emissions

MAC Equipments experienced engineers can evaluate the nature and scope of any filtration challenge. With an array of dust collectors that include pulse jet, reverse air, medium-pressure controlled cleaning, cartridge and HEPA systems, MAC Equipment can properly identify and solve virtually all industrial air pollution problems with a collector that will meet all of the qualifications previously listed. Explosion Mitigation
Venting. Containment. Suppression.
Regulations put forth by OSHA and the NFPA regarding the handling of combustible dusts are intended to protect employees and facilities from explosions fueled by combustible dust. OSHAs combustible dust national emphasis program has placed particular attention on the petrochemical industry. There are three primary methods of explosion protection: venting, containment and suppression. Each of these methods of explosion protection offer varying degrees of cost and flexibility depending on the enclosure and its location. Trained MAC experts can assist you in understanding the explosion protection methods available and aid you in selecting the right one based on your unique needs. State-of-the-Art Testing Facilities

Our test labs enable us to analyze the properties of materials and to compile valuable performance data on our conveying, filtration and process control systems to ensure optimum equipment performance. Material testing lets us determine the most efficient conveying or filtration technique and equipment configuration for each specific application.

Houston, Texas Petrochemical Pneumatic Test Lab

Our Pneumatic Test Lab in Houston has been built around the petrochemical industry and is often used for long-term testing situations. The Houston Test Lab includes 3, 4, 5, 6, and 12 inch lines plus several stepped configurations, which simulate actual plant conditions. MAC Equipment operates a second Pneumatic Test Lab in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sabetha, Kansas Filtration Test Lab

Our Sabetha, Kansas Filtration Test Lab features a Particle Emissions Test (PET) machine, which is unequaled in the filtration industry. The machine allows MAC to design and specify the best system for your specific application. The Particle Emissions Test equipment records and graphs air flow and velocity, air-to-cloth ratios, pressure differentials, inlet loading and outlet mass emissions.

We encourage customers to be present while their tests are run so they can see firsthand how their equipment and product perform. Come visit us today and let us prove our solution!
