The inventory management is concerned with the determination of optimum level of investment from each item of inventory management helps to avoid production bottlenecks by providing continuous supply of all types of materials, avoidance wastage like theft, pilferage, leakage, spoilage, affective economy in purchasing through economical order and taking advantages of favorable markets, maintaining optimum level of investment in inventories.

The main objective of inventory management is to analyze the inventory by using various tools. The important tools used for my study are Ratio Analysis, Economic Order Quantity, ABC Analysis.

The perpetual inventory followed by the company is limited to high cost consumption of "A" category materials only. The suggestion that follow are "B" category also to be taken into consideration for perpetual control system and necessary cost control techniques should be put into action to low down the cost of sales because it shows an increasing trend. Proper action should be taken to further speed up the turnover of finished goods in order to ensure that there is no over investment of funds in finished goods inventory.
