Iron & Steel Fabrication Unit

Brief Description of the project idea: The fabrication unit will deal with all type of iron and steel products to targeting every type of customer. The steel metal fabrication unit will be able to build products made of sheet metals like sidings, rain gutters, roofs, HVAC ducts, downspouts, signs, skylights, and many restaurant equipments and iron products like bed, allmirah, lockers desk &benches, grills and other tools. The required raw materials include iron, steel, sheets, and other related parts like angle, nuts etc. Market Analysis The targeted customers for the products will be individuals, contractors, and corporations. Also requirement of these products is high in schools, collages, companies, factories and households with the facility of making customized products which will be designed as per customers choice. With the available data more than 3 residential collages, many hotels, restaurants and companies are opened per year in our targeted area so the requirement is must for our products and forecasted profit is expected to be positive. Location of the project: Being a manufacturing project a good network of communication and transportation facility is required for easy availability of raw materials and better supply of finished products. Berhampur being a hub to many of nearby developed cities like Parlakhemundi, Bhanjnagar, Phulbani, Aska, Balugaon and Khurda and is rapidly growing city. So, Berhampur is the location and site for our project. Location Advantage: Berhampur is the hub centre for the manufacturing of Iron & Steel Fabrication Unit to many small cities near it. Better transportation facilities like as road transportation from nearer big city Visakhapatnam, which is connected Orissa and Andhra Pradesh for borrowing rawmaterials. Availability of skilled labours with the comparatively lower cost. Easy availability of market resources. Promoters of the project: Ramchandra Gouda:As a marketing student it will provide the best platform to prove the skills in proper marketing and sales related works. Having a good communication skill and better explaining ability will be able to make big companies as our valuable clients. ManmohanMohapatra:Highly talented in using application and handling useful softwares. His ability to handle computer will help in designing customers requirements and to his innovative ideas will help us in achieving product differentiation and building sustainable.

Nibedita Patnaik: The ability to handle HR related function as she has very good communication skill and can also deal with our valuable customer. With her leadership quality she can guide the employees and take useful initiative for betterment of the organisation. Madhumita Patra: Her skills and knowledge in financial sector will prove as the backbone of the organisation as she can forecast the estimated budget for the project and also operational expenses. She will design the financial modelling and can suggest the best sources for funding. Soumya Kant Patnaik: As a rural marketing specialist, he can suggest our best targeted customers and also the ways to concrete our position in rural areas as it is the major part of our geographically segmented zone. With descent personality and good communication skill will help us to build good customer relation with shop owners and house hold customers. Sarita Pradhan: Her skills and knowledge in HR is very good .she communicate with employees is very good. With her leadership quality she can guide the employees. Her good communication skill will help us to good employee relationship. Objective of the project: To produce the quality of iron & steel fabrication products and equipments to satisfy the customer needs. To create employment opportunity for skilled workers. Project Duration: With our forecasted data it is believed that the project will completed within 8 months. It is a medium size project with around 70 workers working initially. Project Cost: The cost for our project is 5 crores which is a collective measure of preliminary expenses include 80% of the total cost and rest 20% includes operating expenses and other overheads. Machines Required: CNC Machine PLC Machine Lathe Machine Cooling and Chemical treatment container Powder Coating and Spraying Machine

Sources of Funds: Of the total investment to be made 30% of the funds will be invested by the five promoters and the other 70% will be invested by taking loans from banks and other financial institutions. Project Deliverables: High quality and value added products which will meet the customers expectations. Employment to eligible rural candidates. Green Environment by promoting Afforestation as CSR activities.
