QHDC Australia is a family owned business with over 25 years experience providing quality products and excellent service to its customers mainly in the
retail sector. Following a number of years in shopping trolley refurbishment QHDC used their experience to develop a range of new trolleys designed
specically for local conditions. Using the unique Rilsan Nylon Coating process to enhance the quality and nish of its trolleys QHDC has become a
leader in the market with many of Australias biggest retail chains among its customers. Backed by AS/NZS 3847.1:1999 Standards Certication and
local manufacturing, QHDC trolleys are truly the bench mark in the industry.
Nylon Coated Shopping Trolleys Pages 2 - 3
The Nylon Coated trolley is QHDCs agship product it is a key point of difference with other trolley suppliers. Not to be confused with powder coating,
Rilsan Nylon Coating adds a tough, hygienic and durable nish to the trolley basket. Applied over the top of bright mild steel wire it provides additional
strength as well as protection in an aesthetically appealing range of colours. Nylon coated trolleys are available in various colour combinations using
the plastic accessory colours to provide the contrast and nishing touch. Experience has proven that Rilsan

nylon coating will extend the working life of

trolleys by up to 75%.
Zinc Plated Shopping Trolleys Pages 4 - 5
An economical alternative to our nylon coated trolleys is a range of zinc plated models. These have a clear PP coating over the zinc to preserve the lustre
keeping them looking good. Zinc Plated trolleys are ideal for smaller and lower volume retailers where a good sturdy trolley is required for customers
but without the need to withstand some of the harsh treatment that trolleys are subjected to in the bigger centres. The zinc models also come with plastic
accessories in a range of colours. QHDC zinc plated trolleys are made stronger using thicker zinc plated bright mild steel wire covered by a clear PP
lacquer coating to last longer in our tough conditions in Australia.
Multi - Purpose & Specialised Shopping Trolleys Pages 6 - 7
A selection of trolleys designed for the liquor industry, pet stores, garden centres, hardware retailers, variety stores and many other applications
including trolleys developed for the elderly and disabled. Using the same principles and based on experience gained over 25 years this range of
trolleys is designed for local conditions and to give our customers great value for money.
Stock and Warehouse Trolleys Pages 10 - 11
To complement our range of shopping trolleys we offer a selection of sturdy stock and warehouse trolleys. These workhorse designs are made to
suit a variety of applications where moving a load of stock is a part of the business whether it is at inwards goods, in the warehouse or lling shelves
in the store. There are also 2 roll cage models that can be used simply to move stock or they can double as a mobile storage/display unit from
which customers can pick products.

QHDC offers a full range of genuine spare parts and accessories enabling trolleys to be repaired and maintained thereby extending the useable
life or to be upgraded to handle additional functions. All trolley parts and accessories are tested to ensure that they surpass strict quality criteria as
required by the Australian Standard for shopping trolleys. When you replace a worn or damaged part on a QHDC trolley with a genuine spare
part you preserve the standards approved status and the manufacturers warranty on that trolley.
Choosing The Right Trolley For Your Needs Page 13
It is important to consider many factors when choosing trolleys for your business. You should always
allow for the widths of your aisles and check-out channels and choose trolley models to suit. The types
of customers that you serve also deserve consideration. Older people prefer smaller, shallower trolleys
to reduce the need to bend and reach. You may need some wheelchair trolleys for disabled customers.
If you are in an area servicing busy working people you will probably nd them calling in a number
of times each week they will prefer a smaller trolley that is easy to manoeuvre that will just hold the
essentials so they can get in-and-out quickly. Areas with younger families will require bigger trolleys with
child seats and baby capsules. And consider adding in a few childrens trolleys a great incentive for
kids to come along and share the shopping experience with Mum and Dad.
For high volume locations and those near the sea or in more corrosive environments a step up to Nylon
Coated trolleys will pay dividends by extending the trolleys working life by up to 75%. The team at

Available in both plastic (polypropylene) and chrome plated steel wire these baskets are specically designed for the retail sector. There is a
selection of colours to match your decor and corporate colour scheme and we also offer basket holders to store and display the baskets for easy

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Conditions of Use
Trolleys are designed as simple a means of conveying a load over a distance. Each model has maximum recommended
load rating or capacity for normal use conditions (over smooth and reasonably level surfaces avoiding obstacles like
kerbs and gutters). Loads should be evenly distributed on the trolley to avoid instability and they should not exceed what
is recommended. Care should always be taken to avoid accidents and injuries due to misuse of trolleys.
Outdoor Use and Severe Applications
Trolleys are primarily designed for use indoors and/or under cover. Where trolleys are exposed to severe conditions
(long periods outdoors and in coastal locations etc) their life expectancy may be signicantly reduced. Efforts should
be made to clean the trolleys regularly and to limit the exposure as much as possible in such areas.
Safety
A loaded trolley can often weight many times more than the person using it. Improper use, overloading, operating
on rough, uneven and sloping surfaces can put considerable strain on the user and can also put bystanders at risk of
accident and injury. Use of trolleys in such conditions should be restricted or banned by the trolley owner.
Care and Maintenance
All of our trolleys are purpose designed and constructed to provide value for money when operated in the normal
applications and conditions for which they are intended. It is recommended that regular inspections and maintenance
is provided to repair or replace any damaged or worn parts thereby keeping the trolleys in a safe, reliable working
condition and extending their usable life expectancy.
Warranty
QHDC trolleys, accessories and spare parts are warranted against defects in materials or faulty workmanship at the
time of manufacturing for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the product to the customer.
Any product/part failure resulting from defective materials or workmanship during this period will be repaired or
replaced with an equivalent model/part at the discretion of QHDCs management team.
This warranty does not extend to delivery, tting, labour or other incidental costs relating to the failure.
This warranty specically excludes the effects of misuse, abuse, lack of adequate maintenance and fair wear and tear
over the warranty period.
