Connect leads

1. Open the energizer a.

Connect green ground (earth) lead to ground stake. (Install stake at least 2 (60cm) into ground.) Connect red fence lead to fence wire or reel. The solar panel should always face towards the equator. i.e. in the northern hemisphere, panel faces south, in the southern hemisphere, panel faces north. Avoid placing in a shady area.

Install battery

Indicator light flashes with each fence pulse, to tell you that your S17 is working. Automatic battery save mode saves the battery by slowing the pulse at night. To maximise power output, keep the solar panel surface clean. (Clean it with water and a mild detergent using a soft cloth or sponge).

Connect leads*

To Recharge Battery: Switch the energizer

off. Place in direct sunlight for 4 days with battery connected (RED +, BLACK -) OR charge battery for 24 hours with a 6 Volt Battery Charger at less than 1 Amp. DO NOT USE a 12 Volt Charger as this will damage the battery.

*Note: Remove plastic terminal covers from the battery before connecting the solar panel leads.

To Store Energizer: Switch the energizer off. Store in a well lit area so panel keeps battery charged. Recharge battery before and after storage.

Conectar el cable verde (tierra) a la estaca de tierra. (Entierre la estaca no menos de 2 (60cm) de profundidad.) Conectar el cable rojo (cerco) al carrete o al alambre del cerco El panel solar deber estar orientado seimpre hacia el ecuador, es decir: En el hemisferio Norte asepurese que el panel mire al sur en el hemisferio sur debe mirar al Norte. No lo coloque a la sombra.

Instalar la batera

La luz indicadora destella con cada pulso emitido, indicando el funcionamieto del Energizador. El modo automtico de ahorro de batera reduce el uso de energa emitiendo un pulso ms lento durante la noche. Para maximizar la potencia de salida, mantenga limpa la superficie del panel solar. (Limpie la superficie con agua y detergente suave utilizando un pao o esponja suave).

Recharga de la batera: Desconecte el

energizador. Instale el Energizador bajo luz solar directa por 4 das con la batera conectada (rojo +,negro -) o cargue la batera por 24 horas con un cargador de 6 voltios a menos del ampere. NO UTILIZE un cargador de bateras de 12 voltios porque daaria la batera.

Almacenaje del Energizador: Desconecte el

cobertor plstico de las terminales de la batera antes de conectar los cables del panel solar.

*Nota: Remover el

energizador. Guardelo en un lugar bien iluminado para que el panel mantenga la batera cargada. Recargue la batera antes y despus de guardarlo.

Installez le cble de terre vert la tige de terre. (Enfoncez la tige dans le sol jusqu 2 (60cm) de profondeur au moins.) Installez le cble de clture rouge au drouleur ou au fil de clture. Le capteur solaire doit toujours tre orient vers lquateur, c.--d. hmisphre nord: orientation vers le sud et hemisphere sud: orientation vers le nord. vitez dinstaller le capteur dans un endroit ombrag.

Installez la batterie

Le voyant lumineux clignote chaque impulsion de la clture, pour renseigner sur ltat de marche de llectrificateur. Le mode automatique dconomie de charge conomise la batterie en ralentissant le niveau dimpulsion pendant la nuit. Pour obtenir le maximum de puissance, garder la surface du panneau solaire propre (le laver avec de leau et un detergent doux, laide dun chiffon doux ou dune ponge).

Pour recharger la batterie: Arrter llectrificateur.

*Note: Retirer les protections en plastique des bornes de la batterie avant dy raccorder les cbles du panneau solaire

Le placer directement au soleil pendant 4 jours avec la batterie branche (ROUGE +, NOIR -) OU charger la batterie pendant 24 heures laide dun chargeur de batterie de 6 volts avec un courant infrieur 1 ampre. NE PAS UTILISER un chargeur de 12 volts car cela endommagerait la batterie. Pour ranger llectricateur: Arrter llectrificateur. Le ranger dans un endroit bien clair pour que la panneau puisse garder la batterie en charge. Recharger la batterie avant et aprs le rangement.
