POLITICAL CULTURE Although many people think that politicians neglect the promise they made, I believe that

they are the only ones that could change the country. The population believes that making a law is easy; however, they do not know that it need a huge process, that way I think that we need to leave them work without presion. Population thinks that they are lazy because they want a fast solution for national problems; however, I think that they take their time to find the good solution to the issue.

ENGLISH: THE UNOFFICIAL GLOBAL LANGUAGE Since the origins of mankind, humans try to find a way to be communicated with each other, not only with signals but also through paintings and sounds. Due to this necessity, Humans have developed many languages that are unique to each locality. However the need to interact with other towns has provoked people to learn the languages of neighboring countries. As we know some languages are more popular than others. In fact many languages have disappeared while others have become most popular in the world. Although many people do not think the spread of English is imminent, I believe that the future status of English as the global languages is assured. Many people think that learning a new language like English may cause the disappearance of their native language, but I think learning a new language is a necessary step in the progress of the people. We should not worry about the disappearance of a language if we teach to our children since school that the native language is a matter of national pride and identity. Opponents of English believes that new discoveries should be published in the language of the discoverer, because that way the discover can be share for all the country; however, I believe that English is the better option as a language to publish a discovery. As we know, the newest advances on technology and science come from The US, plus the fact that big nations like China and India also make their publications in English. If we only published the discovery in a native language the information will be restricted to a small group, this would not happen if it is published in English. The final argument is that learning English can be difficult and is a waste of time. However, learning a new language is a necessity not only to communicate with others but also to get better jobs. As we know English has become the main language that is spoken by the many companies around the world. Due to this fact, some companies look for workers who speak English that way they can help to the development and progress of the company. To sump up, it is clear that the arguments against English are wrong. Although many people think that English is a good option to improve our life. We must have in mind that the new advances are published in English, so we have to use it to be in a constant upgrade of information. Although many people think that learning English is not necessary, I think English could help us to improve our economy as a country. It must be said that new knowledge should not supposed the loss of another; on the contrary it should enrich our mind.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO STOP CRIME Capital punishment has existed for many years in our society. Many old societies like the Greek, Roman and Egyptian, which were very strict societies, used the capital punishment as a way to put in order their societies and punish terrible crimes. Actually, capital punishment had been eliminated in many countries, which defend human right, of Europe and Latin American. But, there are some countries where capital punishment is applied. In fact, countries like the US and Guatemala keep that law. Although there are many people who think that capital punishment is the only way to stop crime, I think we could find another way to punish crimes. While many people think that severe crimes like robberies or murders have to be punished with capital punishment, I believe that we are not able decide about the life of another person. I think that only god, who gives us life, is the one that can decide at what time we have to die. Moreover, many religious people support that the forgiveness purified our soul while the capital punishment will condemn it. Although proponents said that capital punishment will reduce crime, I think that it only will increase it. One good option to avoid capital punishment could be to increase years in prison for severe crimes. That way we are showing that our laws are strong. I strongly believe that with the capital punishment we are increasing the chaos in our society which is so confused and has many troubles. To conclude, it is clear that the arguments in favor of capital punishment are not valid. While many people believe that capital punishment is the best solution, I think that we can not decide for the life of others. Although many people think that capital punishment will help us to bring order to our society, I believe that it only increased the chaos of our society.
