A life that is firm and expresses thanksgiving to the Lord

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercy never come to an end This is one of the most popular Christian choruses which express the Lords steadfast love to mankind. He provides Oxygen free of charge to us to breath; He provides food, rain and sunshine for continuous survival of both the righteous and sinners. The Jehovah is good and steadfast in love and provision to mankind! The question is what about what mathematicians called corollary or the rider to Gods steadfastness? The question can also be posed as follows: Is possible for man to reciprocate Gods love and steadfastness? The answer to this question is in affirmative, but how? Man needs to be firm in his dealings with God his maker and the owner. To be firm or steadfast in the Lord means to give your heart and soul unto the Lord in service and all things you do. This must be done in a continuous way without being weary or not being neither cool nor hot. In the holy Bible, several men and women of God demonstrated the spirit of firmness and continuously trusted in God in spite of problems facing them, examples are: Our Lord Jesus who trusted the Jehovah Almighty God that he would be raised from death; he bore the pains on the cross unto death. Abraham and Hannah continuously trusted God for child and waited on the Lord and God answered their prayers, these had led to the birth of Isaac and

King David who understood firmness and thanksgiving principles so much talked about firmness in several biblical verses to mean heart and soul given to God and continuously maintaining that (see for examples: Psalms 51:10;57:7; 108:1).In Psalm 57:7, he says my heart is fixed ,o God, above the heaven let your glory be above all the Earth Joshua and Caleb who chose to serve God including their families and remained steadfast in this. To be firm in the Lord: You need to live a victorious Christian life, a life above sin and the entire Earth system (1 John 5:45). Trusting in the Lord for all things. Obeying the commandments of God and acknowledging His goodness always. The Lords Prayer, Jobs testimony and experience of our Lord Jesus on the cross are some cases studies in this direction. You need to serve the Lord with all your heart and might this is the greatest commandment said our Lord Jesus. One of the songs says serving the Lord always need to be applied to our daily lives. Do Kingdom investments always: pay your tithe; support the needy and Gods work; support men of God and their family to keep the torchlight of Christianity faith burning. Invest your time, pleasure and comfort in serving the Lord continuously by studying and meditating on the word of God and applying it daily. Pervert holiness and righteousness in your life daily. Job established a trust relationship with God and said in (Job 19:25), I know that my redeemer lives; in spite afflictions he still belief in God. In fact some theologians believed that job was Abrahams role model.

Thanksgiving:

The Psalmist says in Psalm 9:1: I will praise thee O Lord with whole of my heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works. We must lean to cultivate the habit of thanksgiving in every situation we find ourselves. Acknowledge the goodness of the Lord always. In Philippians 4:6 says: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. You can express your thanks to God through prayers, confession and testimonies; we can also exhibit thanksgiving by giving to the needy, supporting the work of God according to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in given unto you. Learn to live a happy life in the Lord no matter whatever situation you are passing through thanking God for at least to be alive. Finally, learn how to remember God with your first fruit, for example, your farm produce. Give the tithe of your farm produce before consuming the harvested fruit. We must remember that there are billions of human beings who are better than us, who served God diligently and even love God than us, yet they are sleeping in the Lord. We must be firm in the Lord and thanking him always to make our life in the Earth and in the eternity worth living. May God help us to understand and apply these kingdom principles in our lives Amen?

Man and Monkey where animals in heaven Yoruba mirth said. An angel of God prayed that they should be human beings whenever they get to the Earth. Man said amen but the Monkey refused. On getting to the Earth Man became human being but the Monkey remained animal up till today. Everyday Monkey keeps on saying amen, amenamen .Hoping to become human being one day.
