(3 November workshop on CDM Project Development Experience)

The workshop was attended by over 45 people mostly from private sector working on CDM projects (List of participants is in the annex 1 where participants who returned feedback form is indicated). Out of all the participants, only 25 returned the feedback form to us. In the feedback form, we asked questions related to 1) assessment of the workshop (presentations, discussions and distributed materials), 2) future topic to be covered in capacity building workshop, 3) possible means of capacity building. Below is the summary of feedbacks collected. 1)To assess usefulness of the workshop, we requested participants to rate presentations, discussions and distributed materials on scale from 1-5 in increasing order (1-low, 5 very good) as well as to indicate ones which they found most useful. Average points given to each item (presentation, discussion and distributed materials) was well over 4 point. (4.57 for distributed materials, 4.2 for discussion, 4.47 for presentations respectively). About 20-30% of the respondents indicated their view on most useful presentations. And the rest didnt indicate any particular presentation.

About 20% of the respondents indicated CDM in Charts as most useful distributed material while the rest, though rated distributed materials as good, didnt specify any particular material. 2) Regarding the question on possible topics for future workshop, various topics are suggested by the respondents.

3) Regarding the mode of capacity building, most of the respondents answered practical capacity building workshops as very useful while few people suggested other means of capacity building such as development of web based platform among project developers to facilitate further experience sharing as well as preparing and airing TV program on CDM to raise awareness. Also a number of respondents (around 5) suggested DNA to give advice to project developers and assist them in finding consultant as well as buyer.
