1.INTRODUCTION
This application will teach children the 3RS or the foundations of a basic skills-orientated education which are reading, writing and arithmetic. Since it is designed for kids, we will only be focusing on teaching them the basics such as letter recognitions, letter to word pronunciation, writing words, addition and subtraction of 1 to 2 digit numbers. This will provide them different levels of learning that the child could play according to his knowledge. In the beginning there will be an assessment to determine what level the child must start and assessments on every lesson or levels to measure how much did the child has learned. This will have a sound/voice detector to check the childs pronunciation.

3.RELATED WORKS
[1] Teach Me: Kindergarten is an educational app which allows you can fine tune your child's learning experience. You can adjust the amount of correct answers a child is must make in order to earn a reward; you can determine which awards will be available (most are virtual "stickers" to place on one of several backdrops.[2] The Teach Me Kindergarten App provides strong practicing opportunity sight words, spelling, addition/subtraction, with rewards (you earn coins and can spend them to buy stickers to put on screen backdrops). This app keeps track of the progress of multiple players, and you have the option to choose which subjects to work on. Also good for practicing number and letter shapes. [3] Read Write Phonics teaches children the 44 phonic sounds of the English language, the letters and letter combinations which represent them, how the basic phonic sounds are blended together to form words, and how to write the letters of the alphabet by tracing dotted letter forms. Read Write Phonics has been designed with teaching children in mind; clear and simple flash cards are used, the font is the popular Sassoon Infant font developed especially for childrens first books and traditional learning aids and the navigation is simple and intuitive, children from as young as 3 can manipulate the App.

2.SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS 2.1Scope

Sound/Voice detector to determine pronunciations Composed of different stages or level to determine the childs knowledge Learning Statistics Assessments are in a form of games and quizzes Uses Samsung voice recognition engine

[4] Two important factors considered in this thesis, Optimized Character Formation on Mobile phones are providing a visual and audio feedback to language learners. Visual feedback is an essential part as it provides the learners the ability to see how an alphabet is written and audio feedback for listening to the pronunciation of the alphabets and practicing it. Existing language-learning applications on Android platform are quiz based and guessing the words, which are based on the clues provided by the application. Few other applications provide a rich set of libraries to translate sentences into foreign languages. However, these applications have not fully capitalized the capabilities of touch screen coupled with the power of mobile-based multimedia.
