DEPUTY DIRECTOR for ADMINISTRATION

QUALIFICATIONS: A Filipino citizen. A holder of Doctorate Degree /PhD preferably in agriculture/natural resource management or related fields and/or administration, management, finance or related fields, earned from a reputable school. 3. At least 10 years of progressive career in administration, management, finance, business, or related fields, including five years of experience in management/administration on the national or international level. 4. Working knowledge of agriculture/natural resource management and related fields in the Southeast Asian region. 5. Ability to formulate and operationalize strategies based on the visions/ goals. 6. Effective in establishing linkages/partnerships with local and international institutions. 7. Proficient in written and spoken English. 8. Excellent leadership, management, monitoring, coordination, problemsolving, and analytical skills. 9. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and client orientation skills. 10. Proficient in computer software applications. 1. 2. TERMS OF REFERENCE: 1. 2. 3. 4. Assist the Director in managing business and administrative affairs of the Center. Serve as Secretary-Treasurer of SEARCA. Assist the Director in planning and managing SEARCAs programs and projects, especially in relation to those with SEARCAs host institution. Assist the Director in coordinating the participation of all member states in the SEARCAs short-term training program and professional technical services and their contributions to SEARCA. Assist the Director in resource generation.
