BEACON MARINE SURVEYORS is an India based company experienced in International Marine and Cargo Surveys, Cargo Superintends, Flag State Inspectors, Surveyors to Classification Society, Pre and Post Shipment Inspections, Bulk oil Inspectors, Port Captaincy, Consultancy and Non Destructive Testing (NDT). We are dedicated to providing a complete and comprehensive service in all forms of marine and Cargo surveying. BEACON MARINE SURVEYORS experienced marine and cargo surveyors have ensured the safe and efficient stowage and transportation of commodities ranging from dry bulk to more challenging cargos such as hazardous chemicals and refrigerated cargo.

BEACON MARINE SURVEYORS has network of experienced professionals all over the India. Most of associates of BMS are technically qualified with long experience in Marine and Cargo survey fields. For Pre Shipment Inspections, Beacon Marine Surveyors has network of experienced Inspectors all across India, who are ready to attend shipments at a short notice.

Our Philosophy
We take our responsibilities seriously. When engaged by clients our surveyors establish their specific requirements and requests at the outset. Surveyors keep in close contact with clients throughout, by telephone and/or email and sending interim survey report when necessary. Reports are submitted swiftly after the completion of survey, all staff being aware of clients needs for information. Report are accurate and concise, accompanied by the digital photographs and diagrams when necessary and backed up by factual documentation. Electronic reporting ensure the swift transmission of information to anywhere in the world. All BSM staff endeavours to be approachable, friendly and flexible to clients' needs in the course of providing a professional and efficient service. We do not accept work where a conflict of interest might arise.

ULTRA SONIC TESTING

Thickness Gauging: Ultrasonic thickness gaging is a widely used non-destructive test technique for measuring the thickness of a material from one side. Ultrasonic Hatch Cover Tightness Testing For Ultrasonic Hatch Cover Testing we use a model which is type approved by and also approved for use by the insurance companies and P&I clubs.

Capt. R. M. Parmar Qualification: Master Mariner "F.G." Certificate of Competency

Captain Parmar served as a Master for over twenty years with worldwide oceangoing experience on bulk carriers, cellular container, general cargo and heavy lift vessel and refrigerated ships. Specialist at planning container/general cargo stowage. Combined experience as a Master Mariner and Surveyor include: Directing and supervising cargo operations which include stowage planning, packaging and securing for inter-modal transportation, and ensuring safe practices/procedures during operations. Well versed with ship construction, structural integrity, operation and limitations of lifting gear including heavy lifts. Seagoing background includes safe maintenance of cargo gear, and calculation of safe working loads. Calculate static and dynamic vessel stability during cargo operations at sea and in port, roll-on/roll-off operations and the bending moments and shearing stresses to barge/ship's structure. Represent cargo owners, charterers, freight forwarders, and underwriters for surveys relating to cargo damage, claims managements and loss control. Surveys: Tankers Pre-Vetting surveys, Hull Damage survey, Grounding and collision surveys, contact damage surveys, towing and sea fastening surveys, P&I clubs.

Digvijaysinh Zala is Registered Marine Surveyor, working since 1996, fully involved in Marine & Cargo surveys covering P&I cases. Carry out full P&I PreEntry Condition Surveys, Pre-Purchase condition surveys. Conducts On and Off Hire Surveys with knowledge in Full Discharge/Loading Superintendence. Conducts damage surveys of Fixed and Floating Objects, Hull & Machinery Damage Surveys. In addition to hull & machinery also attends at shipyards in the repairs of vessels. Knowledge in Dry Bulk Cargo, Liquid Cargo, General Cargo and Containerized Cargo Surveys.

Mr. Khehra is Registered Marine Surveyors and joined Beacon Marine Surveyors in June 2011, after almost fifteen years at sea. He has sailed on a variety of vessels, including container ships, bulk carriers, RO/RO vessels and oil & chemical tankers on world reputed companies. Since joining Beacon Marine Surveyors he has been involved in a number of major casualties on behalf of P&I, H&M and salvage interests.
