QUEENS INTERACTIVE CRISIS SIMULATION

2013 Theme: Syrian Uprising Duration: March 8 and 9, 2013 Conference Fee: $60 Location: Donald Gordon Conference Centre Website: www.qicsim.org Twitter: @qicsim2013 Registration Opens: January 7 2013 QICSim is renowned for its fast pace, contemporariness and energy. It differs from Model UN Conferences in the sense that it is more problem-solving based, giving students a greater hands-on experience with regards to international relations and crisis management. More importantly, the nature of the simulation gives participants an academic approach to many of the themes addressed, since an enormous amount of research goes into creating a realistic and meaningful simulation of international events. The realism and accuracy of the crisis is enhanced by our partnership with the Department of National Defence of Canada and the Royal Military College.
