Motion: The use of foreign language in daily communication shows the lack of nationalism.

Government side statements: Limits: only talking about foreign language usage in many countries, not only Indonesia. In here we are talking about the language as the most important tool to communicate and as the symbol of ones nationality. 1. People in the country mustnt forget the function of domestic language as an Identity of their nationalism. E.g Indonesian, they have a regulation (UU) said that: UU No 24 tahun 2009 tentang bendera, bahasa, dan lambang negara. Peningkatan daya saing bangsa (pasal 43) 2. We use our domestic/ mother language to show them our identity of nationalism, because our identity is everything above all. Because the fact said that if one use so much it affects so much psychologically, they will behave in the way of foreign culture does. In this case their nationality will soon decreased, it is so very dangerous ladies and gentlemen, when we see television ads, banner, all of them use language that we cant understand are trying to use this. Can you imagine the worst scenario? 3. Show our identity of nationalism by spread it out of our territory, dont you ever want to see the decreasing nationalism because of foreign language degradation, language is a root of culture and struggling manifestation, and is also the symbol of unity and diversity. 4. Lang is a parameter of how one can exist with their own identity and nationalism essence. If we take the example like Singapore or etc. they take many languages in their country. So by that fact we say that they dont have such an identity which they can use as a tool to support their love as a part of society in Singapore. 5. Japan, China, Korea, Czech, are countries in which they use their language as a domestic and has been their tool to spread their nationalism which also affects many countries in this world. They get the benefit like many countries trying hard to use their lang and their citizen respected by world because of their consistency to maintain their nationality . Opposition statements: 1. The use of foreign lang in daily communication will never show a lack of sense of nationalism. Because the meaning of nationalism is in our action and heart. And language doesnt mean to decrease our sense of nationalism. Its depend on how the society preserve the nationality. If they judge what caused the lack of nationalism is the language they really have a narrow mind. (Rebutting about nationalism) 2. Country using many languages prove to possess high intelligent citizenship and known as welldeveloped country. For example : Singapore, Malaysia, and are well-developed country. They use not only domestic language but also foreign (English) to generate more information through languages. They prove the world that their country is very open for any information. 3. Using only domestic language to build a high developed country isnt really good for country which still in developing stage. If you want a full development in economic, education, and culture, you have to open your way communication thorugh language. (Rebutting country that only use domestic lang) 4. we live in the globalization era in which people tend to use many languages to unite the world. So that means we shouldnt be egoistic. We have to spend our time by using many foreign languages to connect each other in the multilinguist and multicultural world. (We live in globalization era) 5. we show our nationalism to the world by communicate them. We introduce the world that our nationalism is so strong even tough we use many languages in one country.
