AT&T Graduate Fellowship

Purpose

The AT&T graduate fellowship is designed to recognize and provide nancial assistance to outstanding graduate students conducting research in wireless data applications who have been admitted to Penn State as candidates for a graduate degree.

Award

One $5,000 award will be placed into a student's account for fall 2011.

Eligibility

To be eligible a student must meet the following criteria: be a master's or doctoral student conducting research in wireless data applications be registered as a full-time degree seeking student fall 2011

Nomination

Applications should include the following: a completed application form a statement of research interest prepared by the student (three-page maximum) a nomination letter provided by the student's department head or advisor

Deadline

Applications must be received electronically, in PDF format collated in the order above, to the Ofce of Graduate Fellowships and Awards Administration by e-mail to Cheryl Strouse (cis5@psu.edu) by March 1, 2011.

Selection Process

Members of the Graduate Council Committee on Fellowships and Awards will select the recipient. Applicants will be notifed by letter of the award decision.

All students including underrepresented groups and minority applicants are encouraged to apply.
