1.

Army Composition
The Boatsystem: Each army consists of 4 boats: a mainboat (1500 points) and 3 sideboats (500 points each). Before each game two of the sideboats are chosen and these two and the mainboat build the army. Because of this every game is played with 2500 points. The following restrictions have to be followed: * A legal armylist consiting of 3000 points has to be written, but the percentagerestrictions of a 2500 point army (625 points for lords max. etc.) have to be considered. Exceptions for this rule are bonuspoints which a few armys can get. These points raise the percentage-restrictions. * The mainboat must at least consist of the general and the requested core-points. In addition obligatory units from the various armybooks (Knights of the realm for example) have to be in the mainboat too. * Each choice can only be in two different boats max (choice as in unit: trolls are trolls, there is no difference between river trolls and normal trolls. Chariots are chariots etc.). * The mainboat must not exceed 1500 points. * Within the sideboats variance of up to 50 points is allowed. But consider that these points have to be paid from the mainboat. For example: The mainboat has 1450 points, the three sideboats have 525, 525 and 500 points. Not allowed would be the following example: The mainboat has 1500 points, the three sideboats have 450, 500 and 550 points. * The armylists have to follow the Armychoice given below:

Main rules: * Allowed are all current armybooks and Chaosdwarfes, the legion of Azgorh. * All the current FAQs, Erratas and the STMS FAQ apply. * In case of any doubt the english rules apply. * 3 flying units (Chars included) for the following armies: Daemons of Chaos, Dark Elves, Vampire Counts * No rare choices which can conduct an attack in the shooting phase more than once. * Referencebases of the current models habe to be used.

General restrictions: * Same unit 3 times max. * 40 models or 400 points per unit (all inclusive) max. This restriction does not affect chars. This limit must not be exceeded with the Lore of Vampires.

Magic restrictions: * Magic limit A: A total of 4 spells from the Lore of Death, Lore of Shadows, Lore of Hashut in the army max. *Magic limit B: A player can never generate additional dice if the Lore of Death, Lore of Shadows, Lore of Hashut or the Lore of Vampires are in the army. * 12 used power dice per round max. * 2 additional power dice to the winds of magic max. * 4 power dice per spell max. This limit applies for Dark Elves aswell. * +6 bonus on spells max. * One loremaster per army max.

Dispel restrictions: * 3 additional generated dispel dice max. For Dwarves this limit is raised to 4. * Dispelitems (Items / Runes / Abilities that autodispel spells) count as one generated dispel dice for the entire game. * The Vortex Shard, Cube of Darkness and Items / Runes / Abilities that can destroy spells count as 2 generated dispel dice. Items / Abilities that steal power dice count as dispelitems. * 2 dispelitems max.

Shooting restrictions: * 60 models that can conduct an attack over a distance of 20 or more ore are skirmishers max. Warmachines do not count against this limit.

Forbidden Items/Abilities/Units: * Special Chars and named champions * Fozzriks Folding Fortress * Crown of Command (Exception: Bretonnia, Beasts of Chaos, Wood Elves) * Infernal Puppet (WoC) * Sirensong (DoC) * Great Icon of Despair (DoC) * Spirit Swallower (DoC) * Cupped Hands of the Old Ones (Lm) * Bane Head on Slann (Lm) * Book of Hoeth (He) * Hellheart (Og) * Red Fury (Va) * Chalice of Blood and Darkness (LoA)

Rule adaptions: * Lookout Sir! Is allowed against all spells that can destroy an entire unit and damage spells that affect every single model within a unit (the general requirements for Lookout Sir! Have to be fulfilled). * All Battle Standard Bearers have access to all nonmagical equipment of their armybook entry. The BSB of the Wood Elves gets a free longbow. * The attribute from the Lore of Vampires, the Lore of Life and the spell Regrowth cannot be used to heal models with more than 3 wounds in their profile. * Infernal Gateway: Strenght 11 and 12 will be treated as strenght 10.

Race Restrictions: Bretonnia (Br): * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * A maximum of 2 out of: Field Trebuchet, Crown of Command, 100 bonuspoints for the mainboat Warriors of Chaos (WoC): * The 12th result on the Eye of the Gods chart can only be reached by an unmodified casted 12. * A maximum of 1 out of: Lore of Death, Lore of Shadows, Hellcannon, Third Eye of Tzeentch, revoke magic limit B Daemons of Chaos (DoC): * Unit Flamers, Armour of Khorne on a Herald on Juggernaut, Stream of Bile, Spellbreaker and Staff of Nurgle are each 0-1. * A maximum of 2 out of: Great Unclean One, Bloodthirster, Immortal Fury, Balesword, each core unit with more than 25 models (Bloodletters count as 2 choices), 5+ Fiends of Slaanesh (8+ Fiends count as 2 choices), Standard of Chaos Glory, 6-7 Bloodcrushers in one unit (the 400 point cap can be ignored), Soul Grinder, Exalted Seeker Chariot, revoke magic limit A (counts as 2) * Soul Grinder or Great Daemon. * The BSB can either take an icon or daemonic gifts. * Each unit is 0-2. Dark Elves (De): * The shooting cap is lowered to 30 models. Chariots do not count against this limit. * A maximum of 2 out of: Dragon, Hydra, Cauldron of Blood, Lore of Shadows, Lore of Death, Sacrificial Dagger, Pendant of Khaeleth, revoke magic limit B * The Pendant of Khaeleth cannot be taken by a lord or a mounted char. * A maximum of 3 out of: Unit of Shades, Assassin * 10 Shades per unit max.

Empire (Em): * A maximum of 15 out of: Cannon (3, the third counts as 6), Hellblaster Volleygun (2), Engineer (1), Steam Tank (4), 0-1 Celestial Hurricanum (2), each Demigriffon Knight after the fourth (1). Char on a Pegasus (1), each unit of Reiksguard Knights (1), Lore of Shadows (3), Lore of Death (3), Lore of Light (1), War Altar (1) * 8 Demigriffon Knights in the army max. * 4 template weapons including the Hellblaster Volleygun max. Lizardmen (Lm): * A maximum of 7 out of: Second Slann, Higher State of Conciousness, Focus of Mystery, Char on Cold One (3 max.), each Stegadon after the first (2 max.), each Salamander Hunting Pack (2 max.), each skirmishing Skinkunit after the second, Lore of Shadows, Lore of Death, revoke magic limit B * Becalming Cogitations or Dispelitem. Tombkings (Tk): * The shooting cap is raised to 70 models. * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * Units of chariots can be up to 8 models, neglecting the 400 point cap. * A maximum of 2 out of: 100 bonuspoints for the mainboat, revoke magic limit A, revoke magic limit B, more than 2 models with the Lore of Light High Elves (He): * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * High Elves only have to invest 500 points in core units. * A maximum of 2 out of: Lore of Shadows, Lore of Death, Seerstaff of Saphery, Annulian Crystal, more than 2 models with the Lore of Light, revoke magic limit A, revoke magic limit B, up to 450 points for any unit (excluding chars) * Up to 3 Great Eagles are allowed. Ogre Kingdoms (Og): * 15 shooting Ogremodels max. * 10 Leadbelchers max. * 8 Mournfang Cavalry max. * Greedy Fist or Dispel Scroll. * A maximum of 4 out of: each unit Mournfang Cavalry, each unit Maneaters, Ironblaster, Dragonhide Banner, each char after the third. Orcs & Goblins (O&G): * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * 2 Goblin Spear Chukkas count as 1 choice. * 2 Snotling Pump Wagons count as 1 choice. * A maximum of 9 out of: Fanatic, Mangler Squig (counts as 3) * A total of 15 models monstrous infantry in the army. * A maximum of 3 out of: Rock Lobber, Doom Diver

Skaven (Sk): * 12 Gutter Runners with poisoned SCHLEUDERN max. * A maximum of 5 out of: Grey Seer, Hell Pit Abomination (0-1, counts as 2), Brass Orb, Warplightning Cannon, Stormbanner, Doom Rocket Beasts of Chaos (BoC): * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * Point cap per unit (except chars) is 450 points. * A maximum of 3 out of: Crown of Command, 100 bonuspoints for the mainboat (second choice counts twice), revoke magic limit A, revoke magic limit B Vampire Counts (Va): * A maximum of 4 out of: Each unit Black Knights, each barded Vampire/Vampire Lord, 6-11 Crypt Horrors (1), 12+ Crypt Horrors (2), 3-4 Vargheists (1), 5-7 Vargheists (2), more than 12 models Monstrous Infantry, each Cairn Wraith from the hero section, each Banshee from the hero section, each Spirit Host after the first, Terrorgheist, 0-1 Mortis Engine * 15 models Monstrous Infantry and a total of 7 Vargheists in the army max. Wood Elves (We): * The army has 100 bonuspoints in the mainboat. * More than one shooting rare choice is allowed. * A maximum of 1 out of: Crown of Command, 100 bonuspoints for the mainboat. Dwarfs (Dw): * Miners 0-1, if there is an Anvil of Doom in the army. * 4 warmachines max. (Rune Anvil counts as 2, Spear Throwers dont count) * Runes cannot be doubled on a warmachine. * Organ Gun 0-1. * Hammerers 0-2 and 25 models per unit max. * Rune of Brotherhood (0-1) cannot be combined with the Master Rune of Challenge. * Master Rune of Challenge or Anvil of Doom. Legion of Azgorh (LoA): * A maximum of 4 out of: Bale Taurus, K'daai Destroyer (counts as 3), 0-1 Iron Daemon, 0-1 Strenght 5 warmachine (Hellcannon / Magma Cannon / Dreadquake Mortar), Lore of Hashut, Lore of Death, second hero on a Bale Taurus * 3 template weapons max.

2. General Information
Payment: The tournament fee is 30 if you pay the money before the tournament and 35 if you pay directly at the tournament. The fee includes 2 meals. Please let us know (via Email: STMS12@gmx.at) if you are a vegetarian before the tournament. We ask that you transfer the money using the following bank information: Clemens Bauer IBAN: AT696000000082286725 BIC: OPSKATWW Please make sure that you write down "STMS12 firstname lastname" in the info field.

Army Lists: Please note that we have set an ultimate deadline for the armylists: Saturday, 06.10.2012 at 23:59! Every player who submits a correct army list and pays the fee before that deadline will be granted 1 extra point. Every player who submits a correct army list and pays the fee before 29.09.2012 at 23:59 will be granted 3 extra points! And every player who fails to send in a correct list before the deadline will lose points! Please note that the army lists are open and will be sent out to every player a few days before the tournament.

WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet-Light: All models in the army have to fulfill the restrictions of WYSIWYG-Light: * Models have to be identifiable as that what they are supposed to be. * Conversations and alternative models are allowed as long as the models are identifiable. * A minimum of 50 percent of the models in each unit (excluding chars) must have the correct equipment. * The tournament orga reserves ist right tob an units from the tournament if they do not comply with these WYSIWYG-Light restrictions. Everybody should feel free to contact the orga via STMS12@gmx.at if there is any doubt.

True Line Of Sight: * The TLOS rules from the rulebook apply. Units do not block the line of sight for other units, but they do always grant hard cover. * Buildings and hills have infinite height and they do block the line of sight. * These rules must not be exploited by conversions. Painting Points: For painting points we will only consider the mainboat and a single sideboat of your choice. The players that want these points have to place their armies visible on the table after the fourth game. Additionally the tournament sheet each player gets is to be placed besides the army. 4 points for fully painted armies (more than 3 colors on all models, designed bases) +1 for beautiful conversions +1 for a homogenous overall impression +1-2 for particularly beautiful armies +1-2 for each extra sideboat that is fully painted too

Scenarios: Game 1 - Battleline A normal Battleline from the rulebook page 144 is played. Before the game starts both players secretly write down two of the opponents sideboats which will take part in the game, besides the mainboat. This decision is then told simultaneously. Game 2 Meeting Engagement A game of Meeting Engagement from the rulebook page 149 is played. Before the game each player chooses, in secret, a sideboat of his own army which will take part in the game. This decision is then told simultaneously. After that the player chooses, in secret, one of the remaining sideboats of the opponent. This decision is then told simultaneously. Game 3 - The Winds of Magic are understandable A normal Battleline from the rulebook page 144 is played. The following changes apply: Each player receives 6 cards (numbered from 1-6) for the casting and the dispel phase. Instead of rolling for the Winds of Magic both players choose, in secret, a card from their deck. This card is placed on the table and turned over simultaneously. The numbers on the cards represent the D6 results for the Winds of Magic. Each card can only be used once. Before the game starts both players secretly write down two of the opponents sideboats which will take part in the game, besides the mainboat. This decision is then told simultaneously. Game 4 Army Swap A normal Battleline from the rulebook page 144 is played. But instead of his own army each player plays with the army of his opponent. For that to work each player has to give his armybook and armylist to his opponent so that he can read it over night, if he wished to do so. Should any player have problems with his opponent touching his models he can move them himself, but hast o follow the orders of his opponents. Before the game each player chooses, in secret, a sideboat of the army he is playing which will take part in the game. This decision is then told simultaneously. This game is played with the mainboat and only one sideboat. Game 5 - Battleline A normal Battleline from the rulebook page 144 is played. Before the game starts both players secretly write down two of the opponents sideboats which will take part in the game, besides the mainboat. This decision is then told simultaneously.
