Jealousy can cost even somebodys life

MODIFIED VERSION WRITTEN BY: NITIN S MANDLIK

There was a king Raja Bhoj. He had appointed three Mahamantris and 200 Mantris to administer his kingdom of 200 constituencies. Of the three Mahamantris, was Vikram Singh, who had a great record as an administrator. He was kind, religious, ascetic and mighty. Because of his virtues he became very close to the king Bhoj. So all his colleagues had a feeling of envy towards him and jealousy amongst them was at the pinnacle. They decided to outwit him and conspired against him. Here are the few ways they tried for their purpose:1) They spread the spies around him to see whether he is indulged in some illicit affair. Whether he has drinking habits. Whether he takes bribes or not. Whether he has hostility with a particular class or community who could be provoked to rebel against him. 2) They tried to find out whether he performs his duties well, whether he uses his position for granted . They tried to find out whether he had some weakness. And they found one of the kings and one of the Vikram Singhs. The king had an ego and Vikram Singh had a habit of doing his rituals to his Kuldevata Bhavani, three times a day. They went to the king without Vikram Singh and said my lord, we three and all 200 ministers have decided that for a day we will worship only our king, the majesty. And for the day no other god shall be worshipped .i.e. worshipping any god will be banned for that day. This rule will be recognized throughout our country and those who will not abide by this will be sentenced to death. The foolish egotist king being the victim of pride passed the rule in absence of Vikram Singh and didnt find it necessary even to ask Vikram Singh his consent. Vikram Singh came to know about this conspiracy but he had great faith for his mother Bhavani. Vikram singh was caught in a dilemma what to do. If he worships goddess, he will be hanged. If he obeys the kings rule he will find this to be slavery and fear for death. This would be against his principles and against his true faith for his mother goddess Bhavani. At last he decided to follow his heart. The very same day he went to the temple of bhavani, did his routine worship. The king came to know about this and hanged him.

Conclusion:
1) Jealousy can even cost somebodys life or it may destroy all those concerned with it. Jealousy is a dangerous emotion, towards a person who is having a gift of god in plenty, which the jealous person does not.

2) Always follow your heart when you are in dilemma.

6-tips to help you better manage relationships at work.

No dirty politics please: Dont play politics at the workplace. Even if you have initial success, in the end, you would actually alienate yourself from the masses. Dont backbite as it brings negativity at work. Confront the person directly, if you have issues with a person, but always do this separately without discussing him/her with others. (Also read: Good manners key to staying on top.) Never be partial towards a co-worker/boss: Being neutral and unbiased are sure shot steps to success. If in a supervisory role, you show favouritism or as a sub-ordinate are too servile towards your supervisor, you leave a negative impact. Be tactful, as alliances are important to etch a success story but that shouldnt be at the cost of making more enemies. Be appreciative of others work: Appreciation is the basis for good performance. So, dont forget to encourage others if theres good work. Once you do that, you get the same and thus working relationships improve. If youre a manager, dont forget to encourage your team members for a good idea. Thanking, appreciating, rewarding and recognising are very small but important steps to winning the trust and loyalty of fellow employees. Be genuinely nice: Remember, everyone has talent and they are there by virtue of their ability. So, dont question or pass snide remarks on others. Try to help others if need be. You wouldnt lose anything but your knowledge sharing will endear you to others. Moreover, people will get closer to you. When talking, dont be sarcastic or nasty in remarks. Be polite and be respectful as every organisation stands for upholding every individuals respect. Be punctual: Its very important for you to be punctual at office. It is also imperative that you meet your deadlines. After all everyone is accountable for their work. So, keep your commitments, as this will ensure good working relationships. Never indulge in blame-game: This is the worst practise and will drive people away from you. If theres a mistake, figure out how it can be rectified

and not who has done it. If you always look at the end-product, your relationship with others will improve automatically and people look up to you

GETTING STARTED AT NEW JOB___________________________ The difficult part is getting started. And once you start, you get to your goal by putting one foot in front of the other. Follow These 4 steps below: Expect to be uncomfortable If you expect to be uncomfortable then you won't be surprised when you are. And, you won't resist it. Most times, the biggest challenge in our career is not what has happened (or is happening) but our reaction to it. How are you handling yours? What's wrong with being uncomfortable? Discomfort means you are being challenged and are growing. Growth is a good thing in the end, even if it hurts a bit in the beginning. Embrace your challenge Challenges in your career are there for a reason. The pain your challenge produces tells you that something is not working. Maybe there has been a situation that you have been avoiding, but now you can no longer avoid it. That's a good thing. What you avoid only gets bigger. Facing what needs to be faced will bring you relief and freedom. Running will not. (Also read: Turn your challenges into a creative journey) Challenges give you resilience and help you become a better person. Although challenges are not fun while you are having them, the other side of your challenge is a brand new confident you. Don't be afraid of this person. It's who you are supposed to become. Be open Are you attached to what happens next? Then, your journey will be harder for you. Remember that there is your plan, and then the plan that's supposed to take place. We all would like to control the outcome. It makes us feel like we have a say. Sometimes, it's not up to you. Let go of the ending. Maybe the outcome will surprise you. Whatever happens, trust that

you will be in a better place and that good things are around the corner waiting for you. Remember that things get easier over time What knocks you off your feet in the beginning becomes more manageable as you go through the process. Day by day, what seems overwhelming becomes less demanding and hectic over time. Get ready to find a new groove and a new routine. At times, you may not completely know where you are going, but if you move forward, the future won't seem so scary anymore.

CRITICISM_______________________________________ People are not ready to bear criticism, but they want a higher position in organization and society. Higher the position greater the responsibility. When you are lacking somewhere to fulfill it, or commit any mistake, criticism is surely to come. Criticism can also be taken as corrective measure to rectify your mistakes, and work on it consistently so that the mistake may not happen the next time. Committing a mistake is not a crime but repeating a mistake is certainly a crime. PERFORMANCE_____________________________________ Some incompetent people often envy those who are blessed by god with many good qualities, that they themselves are lacking. Such people forget that everyone has some special qualities that have to be recognized and channelized towards success. The most effective thing u need to succeed is the performance which comes by : 1) Knowledge 2) Commitment 3) Communication and interpersonal skills. 4) Dedication 5) Hard work 6) Consistent efforts.

NOTHING IS MATTER OF LUCK_________________________ I have often experienced people saying that whatever you have got is the matter of luck. They say that the qualities I have is the gods gift. I would say why dont you possess such qualities has god not bestowed you with such qualities. If yes, then the one you are calling god, is not god because God can never be partial. The truth is that you failed to recognize your strengths because you always wasted time in futile things. Because you had no goals. Because you were not focused. Because you always found reasons not to do your work. Because you always found the ways to skip your challenges. Because you failed to take right decisions at the right time. Because you failed to stand by your decisions. Because you failed to work hard behind realizing your goals. Because your efforts were not consistent. That is you gave up so early.

The ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter uses the same communication protocol like the TS Adapter. Thus, the ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter can communicate with any software supporting the TS Adapter. The ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter can also be used directly without modem. In this case, it works like an ACCON-MPI-Adapter RS-232 respectively PC Adapter. A bushing at the ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter's bus connector allows connecting a further device, e.g. a panel. In order to use the ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter with STEP 7 via a modem connection, you need the Siemens TeleService option package. When using the ACCON-MPI/TS-Adapter directly, this option package is not required.
